FootballGuy
Here's the thing... I'm a Rush Propst fan for the most part, but that man kills me when he gets to talkin about his team's schedule. He always says "toughest in the country" when referring to Coquitt's schedule, but I beg to differ. For one, Roswell is losing everyone. 2. Brookwood, Tift, Camden? not tough. 3. Vista Murrieta? are you serious? They're not even a top 5 team in Cali. 4. The only respectable teams on their schedule are tucker, valdosta, Cocoa (FL), norcross, and I'm kinda iffy on Lowndes. Sorry Rush, but your schedule doesn't necessarily scream "toughest in the country."

I know that in the wide world of schedules and teams that people think are the cream, teams like Tift don't necessarily fit in the discussion. They are without a doubt one of the tougher outs for Colquitt almost every year though. Maybe due to rivalry or whatever, but they just aren't laying down. Lowndes. Dang man, you're really gonna make me have to compliment them? They are solid almost every year. Not sure how they'll be this year though. They're awful quiet down that way and that always makes me nervous. Not really sure about Camden. They have talent over there and now they have a coach. Maybe they'll surprise you this year. Nolebull813
Cocoa is losing 18 starters and couldn't win an OOS game if their life depended on it. Colquitt is sposed to be 14-15 good this coming year. They will roll the same way BG did. I can't speak for all GA teams they play but if you listen to the people on here half of them say they all stink and the other half say they are elite. One things for sure is Colquitt Los gonna beat all these teams this year so bad they will all look like International School of Broward!!! HawgGoneIt
Colquitt is breaking in a new QB this year for starters. Also lost a good bit of our receiving group. Lost both tight ends and the primary receivers to graduation. Lost half of the O-line. Almost all the defensive cover guys. We do have a monster running back though. MONSTER. Lot's of work to do for Colquitt this off-season. This year I'm on the "Oh Woe Is Us" train until otherwise shown we have the gusto again. Right. Now if he woulda scheduled a team like De la Salle or Corona Centennial, Trinity Christian, and Cartersville, THEN that woulda been a nice schedule. I think Propst is trying to show Grayson up by scheduling Cocoa and a Cali team, but that's a battle he won't win. Grayson already plays two Alabama state champs, McEachern, and John Curtis (LA)

Tiger2016
Nole where do you get your info on Cocoa? Losing 18 starters? They bring back 7 on defense and 4 on offense. Maybe brain freeze from too many slurpees.

Why is it that the nevada association won't allow their beloved bishop gorman to travel down south? I swear the furthest south they've been is texas.... You think they scared to come to georgia and florida? the 2015 season was weird tho. Colquitt won the national championship, Katy won, and Gorman won... It's strange how that played out

It was also the year after the first ever state champions bowl and the GHSA disallowed Colquitt from attending in 2014. Then in 2015 the bowl series didn't happen after Rush had lobbied to have Georgia allowed to play. This season, of course the bowl series happened again, but Colquitt didn't get there and the big school champion in Georgia declined, leaving the state to basically be Valdusted by Chandler and left this terrible black eye that just won't seem to heal.

I support Valdosta (because it's where I'm originally from), but I hate that Valdosta lost the way they did. Grayson was the best team in the state of georgia, and it's embarrassing that they turned down the opportunity to play Chandler, and from what I hear, Grayson only turned the offer down was because Geico was only gonna pay for a certain amount of people to travel to Texas, but Grayson wanted to bring more people. Back to Valdosta.... they shoulda beat Chandler. Chandler scored 21 points off of self inflicted turnovers....other than that, Valdosta had em beat! The only way this "black eye" will go away is if the state of Georgia convincingly beat all OOS competition. Also, if Valdosta were to run the table again with a perfect season, I think most people will sweep that chandler loss under the rug.
