John Curtis does NOT have Colquitt's problem.....(2018 preview)

It's that time of season.......will start posting some Louisiana previews and adding a sidenote or two along the way...

John Curtis will be solid again, nothing new. No doubt the favorite in the NOLA Catholic League this year. Good size across the board,  good skill, 3-year starter at QB, and coaching.......and they are hungry.

Sidenote: 2020 Curtis RB Corey Wren ran a 4.31 40 at Mississippi St's camp last week. He's a legit track guy. Has football offers from Tulane and Boston College so far. Not a terribly big guy (5-10 170 lbs)

When you go to these camps I guess they dress you up for a photo shoot. 😀

Good size. Curtis and these veer/option teams always like those quick smaller centers he's 245.

Up front, junior Robert Pizzolato (6-3, 300) is a physical force to run behind while sophomore left tackle Rudolph Bolds (6-0, 289) is excellent as well and is back, along with senior left guard Preston Guedry. Junior Eric Bumgardner (6-2, 285) is the right guard while junior Joey Dalferes (6-0, 245) will play center.

Up front, senior Colby Orgeron (6-4, 270) is a star who will play at the next level. Orgeron has a host of offers, recently committing to Tulane, while Anderson already holds an offer from Tennessee among others. Sophomore Elinus Noel (6-0, 310) is big and tough while junior Joseph Kreger completes a huge, talented, physical front.

What are you babbling about?

FYI, Grayson whacked John Curtis last season! A Grayson team who didn't make it out of the second round of the GHSA 7A playoffs! YOU boys stay on the sidewalk before you get hurt! While Colquitt SHOULD have touched all the bases!

Yeah I think they do put some of the kids in the school unis at these camps. Saw a couple of Packers wearing full Gators unis on twitter the other day. Cool stuff for the kid and probably is a help with recruiting too.

Good stuff though. 50 years as the coach at the same school is pretty amazing too.

22-9 is not exactly whacked especially considereing Grayson had 35 D1s or more.

16-9 game with 3 minutes left.

But, whatever with you people...

I just don't see lynch staying on the field with these guys.

You never know......I don't know much about Bishop Lynch truly. Never seen them play and have no idea what they bring to the field in terms of what they like to do and etc....

....no secret with John Curtis only they may throw it 15 times a game which is a change.

Interesting match up.

JT Curtis said in the preview video he doesn't get many calls to play so it's cool Bishop Lynch stepped up win or lose.

It looks like JT Curtis has two risk games this year in Bishop Lynch and Warren Easton. Would you agree with this?

Rummel flying under the radar..

Rummel vs John Curtis is always a pretty good game. They have all been decided in the 4th quarter.

Rummel, St  Aug and Evangel are the only teams to have defeated Curtis twice in the Maxpreps era...

Curtis got us last year 42-34.......

If Rummel 3* QB Chandler Fields (La-Lafayette Ragin" Cajun commit) has a huge year we might surprise.
