Anyone here have a young daughter or daughters?

How do you possibly cope with the unstoppable force that is “Let it Go”, which inevitably begins it’s assault at 6:30 every morning when she wakes up?  For some reason why is it always accompanied by some weird and disjointed interpretive dance?

It’s too early to start drinking, but if anyone knows of a good support group let me know...

Lay down the LAW  !!

Nothing wrong with tough love

even for the daughter.

You will appreciate it when she grows older.

You won't have to worry so much about certain things if you put things into perspective for her now.

Don't be her friend when you do.

Be her father.

We try and usually succeed.  I agree with this though, a little tough love with kids, esp. for a daughter is needed.  Show her how a man acts and hopefully she’ll avoid the goobers later on in life.

Generally she doesn't press her luck once we've said "No" on something, so that's a positive at least.  But this is a battle I think we've lost.

Having a son is easy. You only have to worry about 1 d..k... Having a daughter you have to worry about them all.

Best advise I can offer is to be a father and not a friend. My 16 year old has a “friend” that comes over and I ignore his ass and she gets mad. I call him a different name every time I see him. Tell him I get confused because there’s so many boys that come over. The clown has a man bun also. 🍇🍰

Not so for everyone.

This is where I say why.

I am not like you.

My son has a mark on his back.

I have to worry about him like you would not have to worry about yours.

That my friend is life.

He has a mark because he put it on himself

it didnt have have to be this way

not to late to comply and live a normal life

Why is that? My son is a mixed and not white like you believe.  😂What makes yours different than mine?

My son has never been suspended from school.

My son was honor roll student and played football and track

My son is headed to college in a weeks time and has a full time job already

My son is a respectful young man as are the kids he hangs out with, mostly minorities and those kids are doing just as well as he.

Not sure I understand the problem.  Could you elaborate a bit more?

Interpretive dance is how I get the chicks.  :P
