Brand new QB. If they keep it close I'll be happy about that. Dont think the miles from home has a single thing to do with it. Bergen has more experience travelling than 99.99% of teams in the country. And Ive been to different states, its never impaired my ability to play football. Grayson has a brand new QB also, so thats a wash. They also have a new OC AND DC. Sounds like a post full of excuses. Its a football game. Grayson will be playing about 30 minutes (or 22 miles) from their home field... I hear between 20-31 miles from home is where football fatigue is at its worst. What they call "cement foot" sets in. From Bergen Catholic to Buford is 854 miles... After further research, from 770-910 travel miles has been deemed the ideal distance for optimal football coordination & execution skills. Per the internet, Bergen has the advantage as far as distance from home.

I did see where Soldotna lost in Alaska but have not had a chance to look at the Hawaii results. Thought I would update everyone at the end of this weekend. Honestly, had the wrong Hawaii team ranked there. My state rankings have Kahuku ranked second in the state and Punahou third. 4 hours ago, Frosty4024 said: I know Liberty is BGs only threat in Nevada. But why so high? I can see them 75-100 range. And you are correct in that range estimate. I noticed that after posting and believe I made a mistake when cutting and pasting. They will most likely move to that range next week. 93CardinalsFan
Thanks for all the effort whiteshoes. Two things: LOVE your idea of the 4 game event at Lucas Oil. Would LOVE for my Cardinals to take an annual trek there to face a top team from Indy. Let me know when you make it a reality! 😉 Feel your placement of Colerain is fairly spot on. If they can accomplish the thing they haven't since 2004 with wins over St. Xavier, Pick Central, and the Cleveland representative (Iggy, Ed's, Mentor...all ranked), that should be enough for a solid Top 15 finish on the year. Well done! -93CardinalsFan

No, I'm saying I would never rank a team from Arkansas if front of teams from the big dog football states. i would let the season play out halfway before I would move a squad from Arkansas up. I think a lot of the Arkansas mind set comes from that beating one of their teams took on national television on a trip to Texas several years ago. Like I mentioned I will see them at the Battle of the Border event next month along side several good teams and should get a better feel for them then. Would love to come back to Cincinnati for the Crosstown games but can't get excited about their matchups.
abbatt
Whiteshoes, I also would like to thank you for what you are doing. It creates an exciting dimension to the season. Homewood-Flossmoor is ranked 6-10 in Chicago area. Their OF line avgs 290 and they are loaded with play-makers. Defense is very fast, athletic and big as well with 7 starters back. They ,along with Chicago Marist look to be big players in 8A this year. I do believe that Michigan City will give HF a better game at MC this year. Last year HF won 63-21. Maybe 42-14...49-14 this year.
1DayPGA
Good rankings Whiteshoes. Keep an eye on #65 Pittsburg, they are fielding one of their best teams in years. Not quite world beaters but they're trying to get there. We'll see on Aug. 31st how they measure up against Cent. after last year's thrashing. Don't know why they didn't use him more, at one point he was getting like 8-9 yards a pop right up the gut because they just couldn't bring him down. QB play should be better though which means they'll be able to spread the touches around.
