Dear members,

On behalf of the Executive Committee and our benevolent Chief, we would like to take a moment to wish you and your teams success in week 1.....well most of your teams anyway.  Whether you hail from the swamps of Louisiana, the moonshine shacks of South Georgia, the trailer parks of Florida, the urban landfills of New Jersey, the back 40 of Texas, or the athletically deficient Bay area, we want you to know that your input is valued here.

Our analytics show that only 20% of our members post regularly, and we plan to improve on that number in 2018.  We have noticed an uptick of active posters from the Midwest (Capone's), and Hawaii (mahalo), and ask our veteran members to welcome and nurture the new guys as the season progresses.

Please keep in mind that if things don't go as expected for your team, we will once again make the excuse thread available so you can 'splain what happened.

We (meaning you) should make the excuse thread a menu.  They’re always the same few reasons.

That way losers could save a lot of typing and just pick a number.

For instance, number one could be: It was a monsoon.

No particular team in mind, of course.

But glad to be of Servi ... never mind.
