SJR89 Posted August 21, 2018 Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 was just checking up to see how SJR QB Patti is doing at Pitt....they are a mess at QB...they have 3 Frosh including Patti, a transfer from John Carrol D3, a Juco transfer , A transfer from Eric County community college and a RS soph that played a bit last year....hope they have a great running game.....also heard that Patti is running 2nd team reps....any Western PA dudes....have some knowledge Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BigNorthU2 Posted August 21, 2018 Report Share Posted August 21, 2018 Starter is Kenny Pickett, soph out of Ocean Township, NJ. He's the kid that beat Miami last year at season's end. No real competition for job at this point, as the fanbase views him as the next Dan Marino. Competition is for backup between Patti and Ricky Town, transfer from the Juco you mentioned above, former 5 star from USC and Arkansas that didn't play at either school. Other kids are all walk-ons, as Pitt only has 3 scholy qbs. Patti is doing well from reports, holding his own and learning the playbook. Reading some positive things on Rivals from the Pitt fanbase. Town was in since January, so little bit of an advantage there...we shall see, though, as first game is Labor Day weekend against Albany, then the schedule gets tough. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
