What a great weekend for high school football.   After attending Friday nights game, most of us will inform the family that we will see them again Sunday night and head toward the "mancave" to watch a great lineup of games on the ESPN family of channels.    In addition, a lot of states will kickoff their schedules this weekend and as you can see below, there are some great games across the country.   Have a good one and see you after the dust settles on Monday.

It seems like all the sources I reviewed have them in the top 5 or 6 in the state.    Hopefully their schedule, which includes some very difficult games, will allow us to get a better picture of where they should be.     Preseason ratings are a crap shoot at best.    At the end of each season I look back at my preseason poll and scratch my head with some of the rankings.   However, you do the best you can with the available information in putting these things together.

Do you think you will be able to check out H-F at Michigan City ? i feel it will be a lot more competitive than last year`s game. H-F is big, fast and loaded...but MC seems pretty stocked as well. I`m changing my score prediction to about 42-21 H-F.

Yes.   A friend and myself are planning to play a round of golf, grab a dinner somewhere special and then take in the game.   Ought to be a good day.

Check out a soph. Tackle on H-F....#76 Erik White...6`8...305 lbs !! He is still learning ,,but his size and strength are impressive now.

I see that MC blasted Griffith in their opener  53-0. Last year it was only 25-20 MC. This should be a very good game, but I still think that

H-F is at least 3 TD`S better.

Thanks for the help.     When putting something like this together, you look at so many teams and their schedules, that sometimes you get a little "data" drunk.    So if anyone sees a game that is incorrect or a game they would like to see added, please let me know.
