paladin4ever
Anyone have any updates on what went down? I suspect that SPP won this...but Irvington is probably the best public in NJ this year. Loads of talent.
SJR 04
BOAT RACE!!! Like 40-0 first quarter from what the SPP parents are saying. Irvington parents are saying like 28-0 in the first. Nonetheless Irvington should play strong publics like timbercreek, etc. The Big boys within the BNU is a whole different level from them.

Expected a big win by SPP, but still didn’t think it would be that bad! Won’t be pretty vs. Bergen.

Few key transfers and a lot of returning talent that waited their turn. SPP has will be SUPER LOADED next year as well. Between the soph and frosh that are playing well on varsity right now, I counted six future all Americans.

I’m drinking the Kool-Aid that says if SPP put up 40 in 1 quarter, and Bergen is even comparable to that, it will be an ugly game to watch considering I expect it to last 4 quarters...

Kingwill
Seems like it will be another very competitive year in BNU .. my top 5 preseason is BC,SJR, SPP, Bosco, DePaul .. of course can easily change a few weeks from now.

Or the Cocoa game. You literally had to stop 1 guy. And you couldn’t do it. Shocked Nunzio didn’t fire him when the clock hit 0:

It wasn't to win it. Oh agreed. But thought maybe we’d see a good game for a half or so.
Canes1975
I can't believe ED is still coaching. The game has definitely passed him by. He was my head coach at Hoboken. I wonder if he is still a Douche?

Canes1975
The majority of these "child superstars" don't. Also, do not forget that he was probably a year or two older than the kids he was playing against at the youth level.
