Some interesting instate & OOS scores from GA this week...

InState:

Pace Academy 17, ELCA 16 --- ELCAs (3× defending 1A Private Champ) 36 game winning streak is snapped by Pace. Pace will actually go play the #2 team in North Carolina 9/7 in Charlotte Christian.

Walton 29, Collins Hill 25 --- it appears Collins Hill has found the right coaches... CHill plays Marietta next week... That could be a game.

McEachern 58, South Cobb 12 --- nice rebound for the Indians after the ass whopping Colquitt handed them

Americus-Sumter 43, Dougherty 7 ---  i only posted this score for 1 reason, bc Lee beat Dougherty by essentially the same score, and Americus is NOT good... So we dont know anything about Lee really, except that they play Dr. Phillips FL tomorrow

Lowndes 62, Chamblee 0 -- nothing to see here

Tift Co. 24, Valdosta 10 --- I can dig it

Blessed Trinity 35, South Forsyth 6 -- 4A over 7A

Hillgrove 24, Pebblebrook 7 --- I think Hillgrove will be good by playoff time

Buford 58, Jonesboro 7 --- Buford vs Deerfield Beach next week

Lovejoy 36, Mundys Mill 34 --- our good friend Sportsnut is happy tonight

Milton 37, Alpharettta 27 --- not sure what to make of this yet

Carrollton 32, East Coweta 27 --- another EC comeback that falls just short

Warner Robins 50, Locust Grove 40

Marist 40, Lovett 20

Ware Co. 25, Burke Co. 24

Thomasville 39, Thomas Co. Central 7

Westminster 22, GAC 21 --- GAC has now lost to Westminster, and barely beat Lovett 24-21, a team that just lost to Marist 40-20... That doesnt bode well for GAC vs. Prestonwood Christian TX

Irwin Co. 16, Fitzgerald 10

OOS:

Wren SC 25, Camden Co. 14 --- how the mighty have fallen

Good Counsel MD 40, Marietta 28 --- the Blue Devils made it a game, but their D just couldn't do enough for them in the end... Marietta needs more experience vs. Top teams like this... And playing Rome, Good Counsel, Collins Hill, Grayson, St. Johns, & McEachern in 6 of their 1st 7 games is the way to get it...

Callaway 35, Opelika AL 21

North Augusta SC 27, Evans 21 --- Evans never beats NA

Lakeside-Evans 35, South Aiken SC 18

Lincoln Co. 31, McCormick SC 10

Bartram Trail FL 35, Brunswick 12

Early Co. 28, Eufaula AL 3

Grovetown 24, Midland Valley SC 13

Warner Robins and the Fromm kid are worrisome. Putting up numbers for sure.

Also good to see McEachern show they aren't necessarily roody poohs.

Thomasville too.

Colquitt schedule looking pretty solid at this early stage actually.

Cmon Hawg....

Mceachern beat South Cobb...

SOUTH COBB

The Mr.Hyde version of North Cobb...

Nothing special about this game...

Rome, Good Counsel, Grayson, St. Johns..... These are not top teams? Lawlzorbob

Every single 1 of them are Top 25 in atleast 2 polls.

You are also pushing your agenda. Just stop. let the games speak for themselves. no need to pump it up. Marietta lost. No need to pump up the opponent to make it look like a better loss. Just stop lol

Explain how I am pumping anyone up?

At some point, you need to grow some balls, stop being a bitch and stop trolling

I realize it seems foreign seeing so many good teams on 1 schedule... Its more than Folsom has played in their existance... Folsoms season was over essentially after Week 0.

No no no. You are not diverting the attention. Stay with me here.

At some point you have to stop indirectly trolling and just take Ls. No more pumping up opponents that smoke you. Or pumping up mediocre teams you beat. I am sure after tomorrow you will claim Trinity Catholic is the number one team in the nation. you never stop. Just shut up. Geez.

I am not going anywhere bud. Tone it down and stop pushing your agenda.

But, they put 58 points on them while only allowing twelve. This is exactly what we would expect. No?

Basically a flip of what happened to them last week.

Thomasville QB Chad Mascoe led the 8th grade FBU GFL team to the national championship. Starting for them as a freshman - already has offers from SEC schools. Should be an eye opening game against Colquitt this weekend though

Hopefully he decides he'd rather play with us instead of against us. Lol

He’s already there at Thomasville now lmao they’re all in! He threw for four touchdowns last week. Very talented dual threat player. South Carolina offered him on Saturday

I think the kid will get a taste of big time football Friday night. Hopefully the elite level of play will get his Pops to reconsider where young Chad plays his future years of high school football.

We can wish right?

He'll end up at Colquitt

I doubt it unless his family is willing to move from Tallahassee where they currently reside.

I don't see his dad being ok with Chad sitting out a season or playing JV.

It would be a smart decision though as the young man will not face the type of competition in 2A to really test him and help maximize his potential.
