Rufus69
Well Gurus.... Some of us have two games in the books...but I guess everybody has at least one. So where do we stand getting ready for the Labor Day run? Lime Sink is about to share the Gospel. It is what it is...and while some will shed tears...like "Doc" has always said....the truth hurts. 1. Grayson - they're practically unbeatable. I would hate to be ANY Catholic team coming in to play them. It's not that they're anti-Catholic...it's that they're anti-Yankee. I suppose it's GREAT to be a Green Meanie. 2. North Gwinnett - the Dogs of Suwanee feel like they're being disrespected at No.2. I'd hate to be any Florida team coming in to play them next weekend. Actually...NG is in midseason form. I pity the fools who have them on their schedules. 3. Buford - Bad to the bone and loved by everyone (except North Gwinnett and Rab). Roll on Big River.... 4. Rome - Shorty Reid has the best team in Georgia. But Lime Sink doesn't like him...so there's no frigging way we're gonna give him the top ranking. Bang that drum slowly...Johnny. 5. Lowndes - The Big Train is barreling down the track. And Randy Mac...ain't looking back. How many points can they score this season? 6. Milton - They got themselves a test coming this weekend. Can they Impress? Looks like they can...but...... 7. Walton - After starting off solid...they wavered against Collins Hill. But they showed their mettle and came for 12 down to win. They may drink Perrier...but they can play. 8. Archer - Better than most people think. Still getting things put to bed...but...they'll be around when it counts most. 9. Lee County - Coach Fabrizio says...we can play and we can defend. I like the Trojans and their Touchdown Club President. Lime Sink is giving them some love. 10. Colquitt County - OK...obviously I'm a HOMER. But some of my Packer buddies got all over my derriere Saturday night for spreading the Gospel. So after we beat a JV team out of Missouri...I felt obligated to move the Hawgs up. Just outside... 11. The Mighty Warner Robins Red Demons - Jake Fromm's little brother is playing well...and so is his team. They could very well be Top Ten. We'll give it a week or so to see. 12. Marietta - I'm a little unsure of Marietta. They look good on paper...but what have they done in real life? They have some offensive talent...but it's a wait and see game at the moment. 13. Brookwood - I've moved them outside the Top Ten...but..if they continue to improve...they could very well STILL be a player at year end. i think they beat Parkview this year. At least I do...tonight. 14. Blessed Trinity - Thought we needed to get a church team in this thing. They probably will be a player later down the road. I mean...they're no Lowndes...but... 15. Thomasville - unbeaten and the next Colquitt opponent. Zach Grage is one of the most liked Colquitt ex-coaches and Rush disciples. He has done well down in the Rose City. He is a WINNER. Well...that's the Gospel as of tonight. Keep the Faith and always remember....Buddha Loves You.... Rufus>>
