Rasmussen has been between tie and -10 for a while....means nothing to me....polls dont mean squat. They cant predict who comes out and who doesnt come out. Again you and DBP66 love polls huh??

I certainly considered leaving when Obama was in office. But grinded it out after crappy policy after crappy policy and got to vote for Trump.

Last time voting age was lowered it was gone by FDR. So not sure how Colorado is allowed to step in and state what the voting age is. It's also just plain stupid to allow a 16 year old to vote. 18 is the perfect age. You can drive you can fight you can vote.

0nly for state elections - Federal elections cannot be changed by a state.

U.S. Jobless Claims Fell to a 49-Year Low Last Week

Initial jobless claims, a proxy for layoffs across the U.S., declined to a seasonally adjusted 203,000 in the week ended Sept. 1

LOL...your "one trick pony" act never gets old....take a look at the poll that came out today that has the people of Germany having The U.S. of A as the number one concern in the world...:$

The Germans need to be focused on the threat of Islamic immigration and the disintegration of the EU.

And the jobless numbers are the mother of all “one trick ponies” in US electoral politics.

And all the far left and Democrat liars who  said they WOULD LEAVE if Trump was elected NVER DID......THEY LIE, just like the LEFT AND COMMUNISTS DO....and nobama, "you can keep your Dr"........Hillary,"I was being fired at or I can't recall and worse, "what difference does it " in reference to those killed in .Bengazi.......The left have lied since they started the KKK.......

trump's lie or misleading statement count as of Aug.1, 2018 is at 4,229 (Washington Post).

Just ran across this on the potential economic effects of trump voters due to tariffs.  If trump doesn't get it correct, the results could be quite severe in Republican areas:

https://www.axios.com/american-jobs-affected-trump-trade-war-tariffs-china-7606bcbe-1759-4403-addd-760c36209933.html

In a trade war, the Chinese are going to target the economic welfare of areas where trump was strong.  Looks like they have a pretty good plan to do just that.  Remember you deserve who you vote for.

Where was the concern on tariffs placed against us before Trump was president? You didn’t mind that we were getting f’d then?

Note:  This answer also applies to comments above by Drummer about socialism.

I don't like tariffs and think they should only be used in rare circumstances.  I'm not personally concerned for myself as I'm doing pretty well and will continue to be in very good financial shape for the rest of my life.

I don't know any soybean farmers but I'm concerned for their plight as well as other residents in flyover country and the rust belt.  I take no glee that many trump voters are going to be hurt more than Clinton voters by proposed tariffs.  I just hope that in the upcoming election that they take voting for their own financial benefit more seriously and dismiss their fervor against such hot-button issues as gay marriage, god, guns, border walls and a woman's right to keep the government from interfering in her personal medical decisions.

The map in the article shows the areas these tariffs will impact and to me it looks like mostly trump country.  You get what you vote for, so make sure it is an intelligent vote rather than an emotional one.

As for socialism, there is a lot more socialism around than you think and it benefits Americans greatly.  Your police department is socialism.  Your fire department is socialism.  Your local sewer system is socialism.  Your roads are socialism.  Your bridges are socialism.  The U.S Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines are socialism.  Government agencies that protect your air and water are socialism. The FDA is socialism, the Center for Disease Control is socialism.  Medicare is socialism.  Social Security is socialism.  The FDIC is socialism.  The F.A.A. is socialism.  Which of the above do you think we can do without?

So, let's talk about capitalism.  Yes, capitalism is a good thing as long as it doesn't overpower responsible oversight by government.  Our government, as well as the general public want capitalism to succeed as long as big business doesn't squash out new and smaller competition.  A level playing field should be the goal for government oversight of business.  Do you want only one automobile manufacturer or do you want competition.  Would you like it if Comcast put Dish TV and Direct TV out business, so you would have less choice and higher prices?  Would you like it if Amazon puts Wal-Mart and Target out of business, so you wouldn't have competition, selection and such low prices?  Of course not.  Companies can prosper, billionaires and millionaires can be made but the overall goal should be to encourage competition fairness in the marketplace that ultimately benefits the entire American public.

Government needs to make it a level playing field or we will end up having an economy similar to when the robber barons existed.  Businesses exist to make a profit and as such if it is cheaper (and it is) for them to dump caustic chemicals upstream in your drinking water supply than sending it to an approved landfill in order to make larger profits, they will.  If the company saves $100,000 by dumping these chemicals in the water and people downstream incur $300,000 in medical bills wouldn't you say that the government should step in and prevent, fine or shut the factory down for a period of time.  Sure, they should.  That's socialism.  Capitalism would allow them to dump chemicals freely and without retributions.

Government is the only thing to prevent them from doing so.  Same holds true for air pollution and many other areas where the overall welfare of the public supersedes a company's right to make a larger profit.

Complete capitalism is harmful and so is complete socialism.  We need a balance of both.  Now, we can intelligently argue where to draw the line but saying socialism is evil while not acknowledging the potential evils of unbridled capitalism is disingenuous.

I think you are trying to give DBP and ShortNuts a run for their money.

Not a good look.

I'm on my way to Cali on a business meeting.  I'm sure there will be stats given to me.  Should I IM you for clarification?  I'm making money you got that Right and I hope they are too.  What stats showed the President of the USA would be as goofy as old Charlie Manson?

I wonder what the Stats say about that?

Donald Trump hasn’t been able to silence Stormy Daniels, and now he’s given up on trying.

On Saturday, Trump’s legal team said he would not seek to enforce a 2016 nondisclosure agreement between Daniels and Trump’s former attorney Michael Cohen that would have prevented Daniels from disclosing intimate details about an alleged affair she had with the president. Trump’s lawyers announced their decision in a court filing that was reported by CNN.

1)  Watch out for all the human feces and dirty needles lying around.

2) I am always willing to help you, DD. This is a major step in the right direction.

3) No stats have showed any such thing. Just another indication you need help.  I'm just sitting back watching the leftists wet themselves daily while people get better jobs and pay and the economy grows.  I guess I could worry more about foreigners than fellow Americans, and trying to convince folks that someone with a dick is a chick, but I'm a rational adult.

The worst thing that can be said about you is you are a chump follower.

In the mainstream

that makes you a racist, poor, hard luck, down and depressed, angry, single at home with mom defiant yet conforming to bigotry ideals, with no chance of redemption, right wing zealot.

How's that for name calling and mental visualization?

name calling turns him on......the dirtier the better....^ you forgot the word "FRUSTRATED"....;)

U.S. job openings climb to record 6.9 million

Big picture: The U.S. economy is booming. Growth surged in the spring and has carried through summer. Unemployment is uber-low at 3.9%, layoffs are at a 50-year low and small-business owners say they are more optimistic about the economy than ever.

Some workers are taking advantage of the strong economy and tight labor market by switching jobs in search of better pay. As a result, companies are offering more attractive pay and benefits to lure new workers or to retain old ones.

I am loving this. The world is coming down around their dear leader and they are standing true like the band on the Titanic.

Interesting.

We are loving how well things are going in America. For all of us.

You and yours spend your existence searching for grievances and trying to get men into the ladies room.
