I’m a current Naval Medical officier but more importantly a former RB who tore his ACL.

I wouldn’t risk it as cutting and jumping is one thing when you anticipate it, but much much different when you do it in game mode along with getting hit and having to block on top of that.

i was able to(and still can) run full speed, jump, and cut a week after tearing mummy acl but the damage is still there when you are playing a sport and doing athletic moves off of reaction. My knee would pop in and out consistently and still does today.

also of reference; Boobie Myles Friday night lights

Finally we have a local Doc who we can ask sports injuries about.  Thanks!

I think that’s “Scoop” Cooper.  He could cure cancer, end world hunger, and usher In world peace tomorrow and we’d still be too embarrassed to claim him as our own.

Haha soon enough, unfortunately my football mindset follow me to my everyday life tand I don’t want to be stuck on the “shelf” until I’m where I want to be here at work.

it hasn’t really popped in a while, and I run around 30 miles a week, on top of On the job PT 3 times a week:
