The thing is you post so damn much garbage that we've just learned to ignore a good 99.9% of what you post...

Matter a fact theres a 99.9% chance that I ignore your reply to this...

You are obviously ignoring nothing.

And when I called this game a beat down last week, people actually questioned it!? I told EVERYONE Hoover was overrated.

Probably the best HS team I have watched live.

They are loaded.

Others

Camden County 2008 and 2009

Pratville 2006

Colquitt 2015

John Curtis 2006

So I'm here to eat crow.

Wondered if you were gonna man up, and indeed you did.

Watched that beat down live huh?

You can tell us all about it.

I hear ya, I didn't think Hoover could stay with them, I held out hope that it would be a competitive game, though.

I watched Hoover on national TV prior to this. I had also researched a lot about SJC since last season.

Hoover beat a completely inferior opponent on national TV and I knew they would get smoked against SJC.

Just a couple of observations from an Illinois poster.....

Teams like St.Johns....St.Johns Bosco...Mater Dei etc. are seriously at a different level, with College level -sized lines..speed and athletes and D! talent everywhere. Hoover is a good High school team but it`s an uneven playing field going up against such loaded ,stacked teams. For example from Illinois  I feel that,Loyola Academy and Lincoln -Way East could compete with most teams in the country. They have decent size very good  speed, athleticism and top caliber coaching for a typical High school team .But if they were to play these teams they would probably lose about 49-14 or worse. The size and depth of size is a big difference. It just wears you down until the game is broken open which is what happened to Hoover. Add to that the transfers and you are creating an upper class moving away from the middle class where the majority of High school teams are. It`s all relative I suppose but if this trend continues you will truely have the Elites and the masses.

You just described the gap between Tier 1 teams and Tier 2.  It's a Grand Canyon gap.  The other Tiers are much closer.
