Why does Florida always have to play every single top team in the country every single year? Why can't Georgia ever play any? Ever. Florida has played just in the last ten years and this coming year......

Lol... 48 other states to choose from and you randomly name Georgia. Youre an odd guy.

Weve been over this.

Georgia doesnt have any Private Powers in Football..... GA is a Public school dominated state. 95% of Non-Bordering OOS games in America are played by Private schools. Teams like Miami Central travel because they make more $ traveling. Public schools in GA make good $ staying home.

Another top state that is dominated by Public schools, Texas, doesnt play nearly as many OOS games as Florida either. But Georgia DOES play as many as Texas... with less than half the teams of Texas. So why not mention Texas?

Strange question.

I'd much rather be the state playing those teams then the one that's not.

No its not. Its been answered hundreds of time. The only people still asking the question have to be morons or are simply far too emotional (like we all know Nolebull gets about any Fl OOS games). If a Florida is playing OOS and they are the underdog, he complains about Florida always playing hard OOS games. If a Florida team is playing OOS and they are the favorite, he complains about them wasting time.

These teams are not playing OOS to amuse the people on this board. Which is what some seem to think. The only reason one on here would even worry about it is because of what others on here might say. Its idiotic. They are playing OOS because they want to play OOS, its that simple.

Not true and a lame argument even if it was.

Central likes to play people. Whether they turn a small profit traveling is largely irrelevant.

But you'd make a really great Florida Gator since they employ the same argument to explain why they avoid playing anybody in their non-conference schedule.

No... its not a lame argument. Schools that draw large crowds lose $ going OOS.... but a team like Miami Central that doesnt, well it makes more sense to go OOS.. and itd be much easier.

Central likes to play people.

You can make up any other story you want but that's the truth.

They could make the most money they've ever had in a single gate against STA and have turned it down twice.

They like playing OOS and traveling.

A typically silly post from you.

Nobody cares about volume.

It's about quality.

Miami Central didnt play a single game vs an OOS team last year. (Maybe its cause they knew they werent even going to make the playoffs)

In 2015 , they just played DeMatha (and lost 38-14)

Looks like they love it.

They only played 8 games in 2016 because they couldn't find opponents. Happens to a lot of teams.

You haven't made any point there it seems to me.

Middle-tier OOS games show depth. Any state can throw together a few all-star teams and not have shit left bc they have all their players on a few teams(see New Jersey as proof, and Nevada aka Bishop Gorman)... but depth is where a state shows it plays real football.

Ticket prices must steep down there considering the number of butts those bleachers will hold.
