Sources say that Bobby Bowden was secretly thrilled !!!! The Noles finally found a way to defeat Samford...much to everyone's chagrin...but it lead me to think..... Build me a team of hard nosed players from south Georgia then start whooping ass. Then he don't have to worry about Lowndes and any mudholes. I don't think LSU is anything special this season. They're offense looks better with the QB transfer from Ohio State, but they are still anemic at best. With the schedule we have this year getting a bowl bid is extremely optimistic thinking. The Seminole fans and Bulldogs fans live in harmony and there's plenty of both... But throw a Gators fan in the mix and everyone gets aggressive... Can't say I blame you... Not passing all the blame that way but some of what Taggart is dealing with is the players he was left with. Filling an entire line with true freshman is not feasible. This year will be excused next year the expectations will be much higher.
