I saw this over the weekend and Bill Maher hit on various topics and well there is his commentary on the Magic R:

I will tell you that Bill Maher is Anti-religion and very tough on ISLAM.  So the far Right often commends him on that and his free speech commentary.  '

He even had that gay right Winger Milo from Briebart on this weekend.

A lot of hypocrisy he points out in this piece.

Thousands of dupes are expected to take to the streets today in support of the greedy ruling class. Thousands of "Tea Parties" are planned today that will exhibit the frail nature of the uneducated masses and how easily they are manipulated by a hate and greed driven right wing agenda. Although they will be chanting, "we worship the rich" the real story is how easily manipulated the average Joe is, as they protest against their own best interests.

I'm not a big fan of religions in general, only because they cause division among us all.   I think the fundamental teachings by most religions are great, but aren't we at a point where we can do good without some ancient texts (written in much different times) to help us out?

I don't know, I have been to a lot of Church run carnivals and always enjoyed the beer stations. 

The clam chowder at St. Leo's always rocked and St Philip's has a great assortment of parking lot rides.
