Rufus69
The list includes 30 pretty good teams from Georgia. And some downright "Boss" QBs. Gonna be interesting to see if our 2017 skill boys can represent. The first major baptism of fire for Mr. Krajewski and his crew. We do have a spring game against Bainbridge...but it's a "see what we got" type deal. Rush says... "Rufus, I think we'll be ready to Hawg Walk". Let's hope so....cause Rush DOES like to do well in these things. Rufus>>

CCBlackhatter
Did the coaching change keep Grayson out? I thought they played in the event last year.

I think these teams were finalized before the Herron left, think they opted out this year. Herron is not a 7 on 7 guy, dont think they'll be back at national qualifier to go to Hoover either
CCBlackhatter
I would never pass up a 7 on 7 if I had to break in a new qb.
ECHS05
Herron is a good coach... but an awful choice for Grayson. Hes too old school. He's too WingT. Thats not going to win 7A no matter how many players you got. His hybrid did win last year.. but he wouldve kept them going in the WingT direction until its all they ran. ECHS05
Very interested to see Carrollton at the 7on in their 2nd year under Sean Calhoun.

No, we haven't played the Kell in 3 years. I believe they are 2 year contracts so this is the second year of the contract for returning teams. We just felt that we wanted to do our own thing for game 1 for several years. The dollar commitment is pretty steep as well if you don't sell your allotment of tickets. I don't know if we will try to go back next year. Trying to find teams to play in the new classification/region layout has been challenging to say the least. I could see us going back to we don't have to schedule someone like ISB to fill the schedule. Still shaking my head over that on.
