shut up we are not interested in what you have to say.

Hey sir which game(s) are you going to.  I might drive out to bEast Texas and catch Carthage and Gilmer.  Weather sucks in DFW this weekend.  Off to N.C. Monday for business back late Friday.  Sucks no Texas HS football game for me next week unless there are some on Saturday.  Keep me informed where ever you go.  Let's hit up a College game this year.

DeSoto not so good.

Texasball and I say the same

Good defense.  But not the old Desoto type offense.  Shut Dunne down on Defense most of the day.  Good teams not great.

Neither @Texasball or I thought they were great.  We thought their Dec. Played well.

Dunne has some nice speed and close fast on defense.  Truthfully I'm not overly impressed with either.  Good teams. This isn't the throw it all over the field Desoto.  More runs and quick pops to WR's.

From Texasball himself.  He did mention he appreciated their focus on playing defense better. And him and a old Brother talked about that during the game.  He kept saying neither of these teams impress me during the game and we both mentioned Allen would destroy both.

IMO Desoto is way better team than Dunne and the score could have been much worse.

The QB for Desoto struggled hitting wide open teammates when throwing.

They play calling has really changed under Robinson- They run the ball more. They are not full throttle fast pace offense anymore.

this team will need to limit stupid penalties and get better QB play to advance deep in the playoffs or to even win the district

I can't defend Waxahachie lightening them up but the weather was terrible and favored the offenses last night.  Melissa kid fell on a crossing pattern on Def allowing TC 92yd completion last night at the end.  A lot of fumbles and ints.  They had 3 Turn overs inside the 15. 2 inside the 5.  Was that a passing type game with Desoto?  Interested 2 know what transpired.  Allen hung 76 on Plano. Seems a lot got lit up.  We have artificial turf in 90% of our Stadiums

Let's see how Lousiana power Ruston's defense hold up against a rural Texas team who hasn't won state since 1937 😉

This is how they see it out in lil old rural Piney Woods bEast Texas

Don’t be surprised if: Longview runs away with this one. Outside of Lufkin in Week 1, Longview has yet to face a challenge this season. Ruston, at least on paper, doesn’t appear to be the team to provide that. The Longview offense has been clicking behind the passing of Haynes King, who has found a favorite target in Kamden Perry. The defense has looked dominant in the past two weeks and should keep that trend going into Week 4. Expect a big Lobo victory.

Look at the size of these 4A kids compared to the LV and Ruston.  Carthage has a big team for a 4A. Some big kids

Key matchup: Gilmer passing attack against the Carthage secondary. Gilmer is still rotating between quarterbacks Cade Camp and Mason Hurt. It remains unclear whether the Buckeyes will eventually decided on a permanent quarterback. However, the duo has been fairly successful thus far. Gilmer is putting up nearly 270 yards per game through the air and has three receivers with more than 100 yards.

look at the size of the QBs and RBs compared to Longview and Ruston.  Ruston has to 140lb RBs and LV has one as well though they do have one 225lb.  Carthage has 6A size on their O line. And no they can't beat LV😎

I am back on my soap box about the head coaching decision that Desoto made.

I believe with all my heart that Desoto should be very special program with the talent at their disposal year in and year out.

I personally have not been high on any of the coaches they have had including Mathis.

This program should be truly special IMO!
