What up Texas?

I agree that the #1 team in Texas would beat those teams.  So would the #1 team in Calif and the #1 team in Maryland, and Florida.

Proves nothing.

Be careful what you wish for.  Don't make us send Amat back to Texas.

So they can beat up on more 5A schools? More power to them ūüėĆ

Fortunately they can keep their entire O-lline in the "emergency room" for the next 6 weeks and still win every week 28-6.  If that happens in the Trinity League, they get tagged with some "L's".  Same luxury that enables DLS streak in Nor Cal

You fucking crazy - those teams are nothing and I mean nothing but average teams!

What?

Is that a Jeopardy answer to the question..."Name 5 teams better than Duncanville's remaining opponents"?

LMAO... those over-hyped Trinity League teams like Servite and JSERRA would be lucky to be the #3, #4 or #5 teams in Katy District.

A lot of things coming out of the Trinity league are over-hyped..  Like QB's Josh Rosen and Matt Barkley.

Ya...  common sense and watching them play.

Servite and JSERRA would be after thoughts in the State of Texas.   Put them in Texas 6A and you'll never hear of them.    Texas 5A they might make it around #11-#15 range..  "maybe."

I think the case of Kyler Murray (Allen HS) and Josh Rosen (St.Johns Bosco) has been settled now.

First..  Arizona got rid of Josh Rosen so they could draft Kyler Murray.

Second..  Kyler Murray is already playing better in the NFL than Rosen ever has.  HELL, Rosen just got benched again.

Let's call it what it is..  Josh Rosen has always been  over-hyped and over-rated since his days playing at St.John Bosco.

I think it's safe to say that neither Josh Rosen or Matt Barkley has ever lived up to 1/10th the hype they had coming out of Mater Dei and St.Johns Bosco.

Too be fair...  There is a long long list of over-hyped, over-rated California (5-Star All-Universe) prospects that never live up to the hype!

Which state (Calif or Texas) has more players in the NFL?

Damn - look at the # of games played and TD lead

That’s just damn near 1000 more TD’s scored and close to 4000 more games played.

I am not going to say how, but this is more than just a rumor. With that being said nothing is set in stone yet.

Kids want to play where they can "win", but also where they can be "coached" to a high level.  Only reason a TX public school QB transfers to a private (MD type) is to get mostly year round coaching, and/or to be near others who he knows.  Must be a good reason if this TX qb (SLC) makes the move to MD....Dodge coaching lineage is huge.  Rollo/Money good too, but a qb is a system guy and the best ones go to learn from the best.

Trust me he is already coached year round...IMO he is not leaving SLC he has been in the program since 7th grade.

This kid isnt going to get better QB coaching in CA. It is a family move being considered. Better coaching GTFOH. with that.

Gotcha...if a family move then altogether different.  At that point-you choose the best program you fit into.  If the qb fits MD-then he's likely already spoken to them to get "confirmation"...wink wink!

Ever here about a Cali qb coming to TX  Hmm, maybe Dodge has enough to hold on to him.

Texas doesnt need a kid for CA to come and play QB. Take a look at the NFL. We do just fine.

Get a Cali football guy to agree with that! Ha-all in all TX has dominated recent crops of "overall" talent it would seem; although, Cali and Fla produce significant prospects in their own right.  All 3 have on avg gone to more prolific offenses stacked with skilled positions.  Defenses have responded with pass coverage players who can tackle, are speedy and can also play in space-and this goes for D ends as well.  You don't see as much spread O in the NE/Midwest, and their guys are just different players across the board, with a different skillset.  A Few QB coaches have emerged in recent years for some reason, that are West Coast based, and this has led to the Cali qb mantra...my opinion.  MD has styled themselves as a USC pipeline which adds to the same mantra.
