Those El Paso teams are not very good. The number 1 team in that district El Paso Franklin lost to the 3rd place team Odessa Permian 56 - 28. Permian finished behind Abilene. Good for El Paso. Also interested to see how far Newton can make it this year. It’s hard to get a read on some of these teams until they play someone. At least for JV’s sake it’s Tompkins and not Katy. I wasn’t impressed with Tompkins early but they might have everything in order right now. It seems like them and Katy are peaking.
