I liked your logic regarding Pinnacle and Liberty last week, and think when you put last week's events in a proper context there's not a lot of reason to have Pinnacle jump Liberty if they weren't ahead of them in the first place.  What I mean is that while Liberty having to gut-out a close win against a bad O'Connor team doesn't look good on their resume, they did so with their D-1 MLB missing the first 3 1/2 quarters and with their quarterback on the sidelines as well.  And while Pinnacle's win over Chaparral in a battle of backup QBs looks better, Pinnacle's backup is still a guy with D-1 interest (off from South Carolina) yet the Pioneers struggled to punch the ball in against a Chaparral defense that had given up 40 or more points in their three previous losses (Chaparral's also widely regarded as a total dumpster fire locally).  And on the subject of Pinnacle's injured starting quarterback, Coach Zupke's response related to said "injury" doesn't inspire a lot of confidence moving forward:

Pinnacle jumped them in my Arizona rankings so followed that on the national level.     I still think both teams are relatively in the same position right now.    Liberty's close call against a 3-6 O'Connor team while Pinnacle was handling a decent Scottsdale Chaparral team was just enough to allow Pinnacle to jump over them in the rankings.

Nobody in Arizona has considered Chaparral to be "decent" in several weeks, and when they played O'Connor it was a game decided by the field goal thus the difference between the two squads is not what you might think.

And the reality is Pinnacle didn't "handle" Chaparral as the fourth quarter started with Chaparral having a first and goal scenario down just 17-7; they score there it's a completely different ballgame, and even after that presumable back-breaker Pinnacle didn't completely put the game away until their last possession.  The fact is while playing a team that has given up 35 or more points in more than half their games this season Pinnacle struggled to put the ball in the end zone.

I understand ranking Pinnacle ahead of Liberty if that's where you had placed them following their win over Liberty; you didn't do that and are now elevating them based on an "eh" win against an "eh" team, and are doing so while the program itself is in a good deal of turmoil (rumor is Rattler isn't hurt but is actually serving a school suspension following an argument with his coach over the QB1 video crew at Pinnacle's practice).  If you didn't have Pinnacle ahead of Liberty last week it doesn't make sense to reverse field when the situation at Pinnacle has hardly gotten better since then.
