Cool Article

I like this section that they studied

https://rukkus.com/blog/college-football-player-hometowns/

% and number of players in FBS College Football by state

#1 Texas 13.44% of all players nationally = 1846 total players

#2 Florida 11.22% of all players nationally = 1541 total players

#3 California 10,33% of all players nationally = 1419 total players

#4 Georgia 7.6% of all players nationally = 1044 total players

This highlights the only states that have over 1000 kids playing FBS Football.

I could care less about the per capita numbers - I wished someone would take the time to include all levels of college football into this numbers - OMG Texas would walk off and hide from every state...It would be complete domination on national scale!

However, the per capita is impressive for state like Louisiana - It's all about Demographics - I would add that there is area's in big states that produce very high % per capita ratings like smaller states - for example East Texas

But, someone should care how many Pros a state with 27 million people produce?

There are more states the size of Louisiana than Texas.

I guess you best this part that I wrote

Louisiana has great demographics across the board for producing well in the per capita conversation.  Just like area's with in Texas.  --- earlier today I read article that per capita based on every 100,000 people that Port Arthur TX and Beaumont TX out produce any city in Louisiana per capita for NFL players - Two Louisiana towns did make the list Shreveport and Baton Rouge.

all in all Louisiana is very impressive football state and the per capita ratings for NFL players is also impressive - so is Alabama, Missississippi, - smaller states in the deep south with solid black population of great athletes!  Demographics

Why ?? Of all the states just from a historical prospective  such as Boston,Philadelphia,NY  not much much and the crime rate in NO is very high.. One of the worst states to live in for a plethora of reasons.. So,in reality who gives a shit how many stupid footballers come from La..Better, like HILLARY SAID, "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE" !!!!!!!

Take your Geritol Complete and relax, old man.
