golfaddict1
BP reps, 40's, draft tidbits... hey it's not politics A TCU lineman ran a 4.81 today... at an Opening tryout that's a 4.6, at a regular HS combine that's a 4.5, at a HS field hand time that guy's 4.4 in HS. If anyone breaks Chris Johnson's 40 time adidas will let them choose an island lol (valued up to 1 mil). Gentlemen, start your engines. 954gator
Mcaffrey posted just 10 bench reps. That's a little surprising, but I'm sure he has relatively long arms.

It almost looked like he was hitting the bar below his chest... just looked awkward.

He'll be used as a slot/multi-purpose player. Shuttle and 40 times are more telling for him than bench. That being said...10 reps?

954gator
Dalvin Cook with back to back 4.50s, but honestly I don't think it matters. There just hasn't been a running back with his cutting ability is quite some time.

I remember last year I was waiting for them to adjust time and they never did. I think they changed the way they do 40s and the result is normally high variances. For example Caffrey ran a 4.49 then a 4.59.

Wait I thought the Jersey contingent were dead set that peppers was a top 5 pick? 1 Int and 1 forced fumble in his college career. Laughable. Demarcus Walker...is a beast. Even if he isn't 6'4. I think for the safties like Baker at that weight in the NFL might be an issue.

Laughable. I think Peppers could be a Landon Collins type player. Unless he's not 100 pct (and that's the other ?) he should do well at the combine. Speed is not an issue as far as I've seen, staying healthy is. If he shows off his athleticism at the combine imo he could land in the first round. Unless he flounders at the combine imo he's a lock pick by early 2nd round.
954gator
As far as a running backs that I think looked good that aren't being talked about...Jeremy McNichols looked pretty solid when I watched him from Boise St (cali kid). Also Cooks official time was 4.49 so I guess they did adjust them.
954gator
Check out the simulcam of Cook, Kamara, Fournette, and Caff. Cook starts out last but looks like his top end is catching up and faster than the rest. http://sports.yahoo.com/video/simulcam-alvin-kamara-vs-leonard-200300909.html

Guest
Anyone else notice how much of joke NFL scouts/analysts have become over the past few years? Imagine believing that Mitch Trubisky didn't invent the word scrub. Meanwhile, the NFL experts believe this guy to be the best thing since sliced bread. ECHS05
Alvin Kamaras burst was the best of the 4, he gets up to top speed very fast. But his top end speed might be a quarter step behind the fastest of those 4.
