No one is playing for a slot in your tier rankings.  It’s all about next week and next round

Everyone here is just trying to advance to the Next round.  We don't get breaks during the Playoffs like some States do.  To win State here the Kids will play the equivalence of an NFL Regular Season in one of the Best Football States in America.  It is a damn grind. Watching Trinity and Allen and LV and Prosper you wonder how the hell can they play with that intensity week end and week out for 6 weeks.  The playoffs are tense as hell.  Look at Carthage and Heritage.  That was just damn draining or Celina and Argyle.  Much more to that game here with the Coaches going at it before the game in the Press.

Woodlands is a Tier 3 team.  If that.  Receiver just drops the biggest pass if the season.  Pathetic.

Allen doesn’t get away with that vs Tier 1-2 teams

Is that one of your criteria? That no receiver on certain of your tier teams can ever have dropped a pass?

Not sure I've heard of that approach before, nor that I agree, but the tier deal is your game and you can do with it as you please. Kind of like Bob Ross...it's your world, add whatever you desire.

The dropped pass is not the sole determining factor, just a telling portion of their entire body of work.  The lack of focus on that particular play by the "star" receiver is symptomatic of a Tier 3 and below team.  Same as Archer, Ga.

Ah, so no "star" receiver from a certain tier of yours and above can ever have dropped a pass. Interesting to include this in your philosophy.

To repeat myself.  Lack of focus in key situations is systemic to teams that are Tier 3 and below.  Expected better execution from a team so far into the Texas 6a playoffs.  That is all.

To their credit, The Woodlands as a 9-4 team gave Allen waaaaay to much trouble in what should have been a routine win.

OK, you're leaking little tidbits with every post. Sounds like no "star" receiver in a "key situation" can ever have dropped a pass, or else his team would be ineligible for certain placement in your tiers. I'm just trying to follow along, but must say in all my years I've not been exposed to a similar approach in team evaluations.

Allen had better find another gear to hang with NS if that game happens. As far as the Woodlands go, they have good coaching and good teams almost every year. They don't bow out as early in the playoffs as they did years ago. They deserve some credit.

Agree, the way they played they’ll lose to SLC or duncanville and get blown out by north shore.  I think Katy would have beaten them based on what I saw from both teams.  That game needs to happen soon.

You are not doing a very good job of following along.  Also please refrain from inserting words like "all", and "no" into my quotes.
