Nolebull813
Still too many classes but the FHSAA still don't give a damn. They do it because it creates more playoff games and they get a big cut of all playoff gates. There are about 550 football playing schools. If you made 5 classes that's 110 per class. Divide that into 16 districts and the average is 6-7 team per district. Which is a perfect size district. Champs and runner ups make the playoffs. You take the 110 smallest enrollments and make that 1A. And you keep going up until you have 5 classes. So fucking easy

It is a nonprofit organization that carries out the wishes of it's members. Period.

So fucking easy They are slowly working towards it Remember they did just lower the classes for the other sports this year, too much change at one time won't go over well with the schools

First time ever I agree with you frogface The schools are reasons for the districts being so bad last few years because they want to milk system to get a easy road to finals

The FHSAA brass pitched an open division with 5 other classes (by enrollment) and they held town hall meetings with coaches and ADs. The idea was roundly rejected. It's easy to bozos like you who won't understand how any of this stuff actually works.
Columbiafan
And yes @Nolebull813 What Los said is true the schools had a shot at less classes and they folded the idea

I think it's a improvement, probably best it can get for having 8 classes Still has issues but until they lower classifications I don't see it getting better than this

We had this argument about GA&FL before.... It would end up being an unbalanced disaster... It works for y'all because y'all are already a ClustFuck to begin with... Your large privates and large Power house Public's compete... Mostly... But the gap between your teams is so damn ridiculous it's not even entertaining anymore... Maybe it could work with FL after all they're teams are far more balanced than CA the gap isn't as far out as MD and Upland....
