Florida classifications for the upcoming seasons

Still too many classes but the FHSAA still don't give a damn. They do it because it creates more playoff games and they get a big cut of all playoff gates.

There are about 550 football playing schools.

If you made 5 classes that's 110 per class. Divide that into 16 districts and the average is 6-7 team per district. Which is a perfect size district. Champs and runner ups make the playoffs.

You take the 110 smallest enrollments and make that 1A. And you keep going up until you have 5 classes.

So fucking easy

I'm digging Gibbons/BookerT/Carol City in the same region

I like our region and district as well

I also see  STA, Miramar, plantation and I think Dwyer In same region

A lot of balanced regions that I saw

Also finally put mainland in North and split the Miami teams up, where is MNW btw?

Still wrong after all these years.

The schools want it this way. The FHSAA is not a dictatorship. It is a nonprofit organization that carries out the wishes of it's members.

Period.

They are slowly working towards it

Remember they did just lower the classes for the other sports this year, too much change at one time won't go over well with the schools

The schools are reasons for the districts being so bad last few years because they want to milk system to get a easy road to finals

Yap, yap, yap, yap.

The FHSAA brass pitched an open division with 5 other classes (by enrollment) and they held town hall meetings with coaches and ADs. The idea was roundly rejected.

It's easy to bozos like you who won't understand how any of this stuff actually works.

It would be better if for Football playoffs they grouped the top 18-20 football programs into one division regardless of enrollment

You see this is where you're wrong...

We had this argument about GA&FL before....

It would end up being an unbalanced disaster...

It works for y'all because y'all are already a ClustFuck to begin with...

Your large privates and large Power house Public's compete... Mostly...

But the gap between your teams is so damn ridiculous it's not even entertaining anymore...

Maybe it could work with FL after all they're teams are far more balanced than CA the gap isn't as far out as MD and Upland....

Soon all we’ll here from @Columbiafan is how weak 7A is lol.

7a actually looks to be solid overall

You thinking of Los who craps on every team not named STA

4a region 4 might arguably have best top 3 of any region in state with Carol City, BTW and Cardinal Gibbons

6A region 2 is pretty weak, whoever wins region one will be in Orlando

Looks like 6a South could be somewhat interesting but not the death row it been in past
