RedZone
....all these meaningless exhibition OOS games by recruited-up All Star teams clearly didn't mean much.. Three mile long daisy chains and roster raiding was rejected by the experts at Maxpreps who actually watch countless hours of video and film. Congrats North Shore! A "real man's" Champion.... 7

'Tis the reason why an perennial undefeated team from a non-power state like Warren Central will never win a MNC. UHigh is not a perennial undefeated team. They may lose 3 or 4 games next year...and Louisiana has had 2 publics win pieces of MNCs. It can happen again. #keepbuildingNJ 1
RedZone
Any given year Georgia could have a public MNC as well. These are football states where the talent is. You wouldn't understand much about that, gardenball..

HawgGoneIt
I agree. While oos matchups are fun, and certainly make it easier to get "noticed" by pollsters, they aren't an absolute necessity in order to be ranked or win an MNC. I like having teams play OOS games, but, given how ridiculous all the arguments become based off of a game like BC vs. Grayson this year for instance, they can cause more confusion than actually help with national placement. Congrats to North Shore and all the MaxPreps Xcellent 25.
HawgGoneIt
Look at Sammy's goofy ass tiers. SFA in tier 2 and Colquitt/Milton(both Georgia 1st tier) in national tier 3. Based off of SFA beating Lee County (Georgia tier 3) Goofy shit comes out of these mismatches and poorly orchestrated OOS games. 2
HawgGoneIt
The obvious problem with these OOS games, especially as it pertains to public school ball, is, match makers CAN NOT guess which team will be the best in a state like Georgia or Texas. They want so badly to say some stacked private academy is better than a state. If anyone would have tried matching a Texas school this year, they would have wanted to make a MD vs Allen matchup. They'd have guessed wrong as hell and still had no proof, but, would have used all manner of bullshit twisted logic to make the actual best team from Texas be worse than MD due to a game between Allen and MD. Same shit we saw with the BC vs. Grayson and GC vs. Marietta games this year. You may get lucky and catch lightning in a bottle occasionally and get the best public from a state like Texas or Georgia so not saying you shouldn't try, but definitely if these games are going to be used in some manner to rank teams that aren't even involved, I'd just as soon have them not happen. 1

Nolebull813
North Shore is the undisputed national champion. A state champion from California is equivalent to a Texas first round loser. Plus they all have losses. If any of those California teams played North Shore or Duncanville it wouldn’t be pretty for the state that says giving Aids is a misdemeanor. Lol. Congratulations to the North Shore Mustangs on your undisputed and consensus 2018 High School Football National Championship!!! 3

Champa
Nice to see Duncanville get some recognition as well. They're QB is scary good. Not sure I'd want to see him again if I'm North Shore. That whole team is the real deal also.

RedZone
It's OK to hate people like dd and txsmall for their adolescent TX homerism! They are just a couple of cows in a huge state though. Duncanville and North Shore have NO clue or idea who these cows are..

North Shore beat Katy by two touchdowns IN KATY on August 31st, and yet you had Katy No. 1? But all year you told BC was better than Georgia because they beat Grayson by less than what NS did to Katy? This is what we’re talking about. You don’t make compelling arguments anymore and you get exposed a lot. North Shore went on to beat them by two touchdowns again at a neutral site. Katy was clearly never the best team. They aren’t better than Duncanville or Allen either. This is like you saying Lee is No. 1 in Georgia. You don’t watch football in those states so you end up guessing. And wind up wrong a lot 1

Yard Dart
As someone who has followed Katy football for over 50 years, I can safely say that Katy was not the best team in Texas this year. Top 10, yes. But they need to eat a few cheeseburgers over the offseason to hold their ground against the North Shores and Duncanvilles. 1
