You'll need a couple more to get off the list one way or another.

My guess is that Madison County and buchholz will stay on schedule since both are usually solid teams in North Florida and both are good gate games Madison county is a 2 time defending champions in FL rural class and are basically a small school version of someone like Colquitt in FL if that makes sense Not sure if Suwannee stays on schedule or not since that has been considered up in air last few months and despite it being a traditional rivalry both schools are starting to view them as a unnecessary game on both ends but since Coach Allen is very traditional in his roots as a Columbia alumni and being a player here when the rivalry meant more I wouldn't be surprised if it stays on schedule So even if it does leaves 3 games plus KOC, I was working on getting a home and home with Apopka but that fell through when Darlington left to take a job in Alabama The thing is with Columbia is they will play anyone because coaches want competition but they also aren't total dicks to the athletic department to point they would spend every dime the department has before we even hit winter sports Columbia will need one of 2 things for a game like you are suggesting 1) either the team would have to cover costs and travel to Lake City on a one year deal or 2) they will need to cover all our travel costs (think Miami Central) Reason we took IMG last year was they covered our entire travel costs plus gave enough money extra to have some pocket change and gave portion of gate

For Coumbia, a regular season (not a scrimmage) game vs IMG, Cardinal Gibbons, AHP, Carol City, Venice, Northwestern, Columbus or nearby Hoover would qualify. If IMG wants to give us another 8k like they did for KOC we probably wouldn't object to playing them again In fact the AD told me if they offered us the deal they did last season we wouldn't hesitate to go back down there for another game

Columbia would probably look into playing those teams if we can get a deal similar to IMG gave us in KOC (paid travel expenses) The simple truth is with Columbia our boosters are kinda cheap in certain aspects They will have no problem paying for stuff like food or uniforms or end of year awards but when it comes to games they ain't gonna fund for us to make long travels as they view it as not being a nesessity They will cough up money for games we have to play (playoffs) but not non conference games that's why they try to limit the travel and set scheduling to get best possible teams in the region but I do think that they may play OOS soon We had a game with Camden County scheduled 2 years ago but it went bad and got called off due to weather then other crap happened and let's just say we won't play them for a while but I wouldn't be surprised if we soon play a team in South GA (maybe someone like Colquitt)

Columbiafan
We weren't scared of IMG, they just happen to be only one close enough by that would pay our entire travel bill Hell that was 3rd straight year we tried to schedule them 2016 we tried to add them on regular season schedule but the school board refused to approve it, 2017 we tried to get them but couldn't work out a date I wouldn't be surprised if we play them again in near future
