If I had to guess, teams may start crawling back put of the woodwork to play us now though. Normally we play a couple of intrasquad scrimmages and one tune up game against an opponent. Marietta plays Edgewater this year. Edgewater has been garbage for a while until last year. They played the world’s worst schedule last year but beat the tar out of Robert E Lee right before losing to state champ Lakeland. Lee just beat the heck out of Columbia the week before that. They are hard to figure out. They got steamrolled by a team who maxpreps had outside the state top 200. But they destroy Lee who was in the state top 20. What the fuck? The only way Edgewater got that good this fast was magnetized talent. So we’ll see if they keep up the trend.
