Who are some of the teams with a great OOS record all time? I wanted to highlight one team from back in the day. The Miami High Stingarees. From 1924-1962 they posted a record of 92 wins and 33 losses as well as 7 ties. Pretty stellar. Any other teams with something like that?

If anyone want some to know about a specific game, let me know

Here is a trailer for a documentary about the rivalry between Miami High and Edison High.

“This classic documentary from 1961 is one of the first to portray football as a social and cultural phenomenon. Concentrating on the state high school championship held at the Orange Bowl in Miami, “Mooney vs. Fowle” follows two coaches – Heywood Fowle of Edison High and Otis Mooney of Miami High – as they prepare their teams for a legendary showdown. Built up over 40 years, the rivalry between the two schools has reached a fever pitch that draws more than 40,000 spectators. Vividly bringing to life the intensity, pressure and excitement swirling around one epic face-off, the film surveys the stakes of intense competition.”

Sorry for the side bar, but how does St. Iggy’s look for 2019? I don’t see many Ohio threads on here I can post on to ask.

There will be a lot of new faces, but they should be solid. Ignatius rarely has down years. They will have a good nucleus of returning starters on offense with QB Griffin Hanna, WR Connor Cmeil (very good one who should have D1 offers on the way), TE Sam Daugstrup (actually missed last year with an injury but is a D1 recruit), RB Jack Welsh (split carries last year), and OG Nick Schwitzgebel (D1 offers). Defense loses its two best players in LB Tommy Eichenberg (Ohio St.) and DB Jett Elad (Ohio U), but Ignatius has a knack for producing high quality LB's and DL in their 3-3 stack defense.

The only error they have is the Red Lion Christian Academy (MD) game from 2013, reflecting a 76-7 win. Red Lion and ECA are the same school (quarterbacked by David Sills at that time), and the score in 2013 was a 41-40 win for Ed's.  The record I posted dates back to 2000 and I did not include the Canadian also-rans, just stateside teams.
