Harding HS in OH. But he moved to IMG early... So hes an IMG guy. I will never add IMG to Floridas total. Its just not right. If the kid is from florida they should be added, but I agree if not no way.
ECHS05
Mecole Hardman played QB in HS at Elbert Co. He played CB his 1st season at UGA. Hes only been a WR for 2 years of his life and he was selected in the 2nd rd of the NFL Draft at that position. When he gets a little more time there... The skys the limit for him. Hes really fast, quick, & athletic.

ECHS05
UGAs RB Elijah Holyfield wouldve been better off never going to the NFL Combine... He should've been a 4th-5th round guy but his very slow 40 prevented him from getting drafted. Really he shouldve just come back for his senior season. But Im kind of glad he didnt, Brian Herrien looks like hes ready to have a breakout year. Herrien & Swift will be > than Holyfield & Swift. I wish we could count on Zamir White being healed from his ACL injury. But he kid has torn his right & left ACL, one right after the other the last 2 years... Who knows if he'll ever be the same. Holyfield signed as an UDFA with the Carolina Panthers. I think Nauta, Ridley, & Hardman shouldve come back also. Hardman couldve worked his way into the 1st Rd & more $. And if Nauta couldve worked on his speed, he couldve went a lot higher also. I remember in the SEC Championship game, Nauta caught a wide open ball (only 15 yards past the LoS) but almost all of Bamas players were sucked into the play action & Nauta had 45 yards to cover for a TD... The closest Bama player was 7-8 yards behind him... But they caught him around the 18-20 yard line. If hed had a little more speed, he couldve put the game out of reach and UGA wouldve made the playoffs. But.. Alas we were forced to kick a 35 yard FG and Blankenship missed it. You could just feel all our momentum slowly going the other direction from that play on. I really think theres a team out there, that can make good use of Terry Godwin. Hes not the fastest player out there, or the biggest. But hes a savvy route runner & he has good hands. UGA ended up with 7 players drafted, & 4 UDFA signees... 1st Round: 30. Giants - CB Deandre Baker / Miami Northwestern FL 2nd Round: 56. Chiefs - WR Mecole Hardman / Elbert Co. GA 4th Round: 126. Bears - WR Riley Ridley / Deerfield Beach FL 5th Round: 168. Titans - OLB D'Andre Walker / Langston Hughes GA 6th Round: 179. Cardinals - C Lamont Gaillard / Pine Forest NC 7th Round: 224. Lions - TE Isaac Nauta / Buford GA 237. Panthers - WR Terry Godwin / Callaway GA UDFA Signings: Panthers - RB Elijah Holyfield / Woodward Academy GA Dolphins - DE Jonathan Ledbetter / Tucker GA Steelers - DE Jay Hayes / Poly Prep NY (graduate transfer from Notre Dame to UGA) Saints - LS Nick Moore / Brookwood GA

ECHS05
I cant believe Missouri WR Emanuel Hall didnt get drafted. He was a stud. The Bears picked him up as an UDFA. The Bears are really loading up & looking like a Super Bowl team. They deserved that playoff game against the Eagles last year.
ECHS05
2020 will be a great year for UGA in the draft.... Or a rough year on UGA losing so many high level players depending on how you look at it.

UGA has a Top 5 overall pick in OT Andrew Thomas (or atleast Top 10). He'll only be a JR but theres no way he doesnt come out. Along with Thomas... QB Jake Fromm, RB D'Andre Swift, WR Jeremiah Holloman, OT Isaiah Wilson, DT Tyler Clark, OG Solomon Kindley, TE Charlie Woerner, S J.R. Reed, OLB Jermaine Johnson, & CB Eric Stokes are all draftees IF they all come out. WR Demetrius Robertson, DT Devonte Wyatt, OG Ben Cleveland, & DE Malik Herring could all come out also... And theyd be candidates to be drafted. Cleveland and Herring for sure. Wyatt is still very raw. Robertson has to prove a lot this season. Cleveland has been hampered with injury but if he can stay healthy, hes a pick.
