This creates the anomaly where all the closely connected teams s.o.s. is stout enough that they are also elevated in the algorithm just as Cal Preps prefers it. This gives the impression there is a bias. I don't really think there is a way to solve that issue in the algorithms. The heavily weighted strength of schedule reward is where the issue is I think. At least my vommon sense tells me that's the case. It’s not a problem that needs solving give it time and relax DLS is normally lower at CP than national polls by end of regular season but zoom up if they can win the Open and beat socal’s Best that’s an advantage to have that opportunity at end of season (if you can win whichnhas become a huge if), but it’s for beating really good teams if you want to change something, change all the human pills that could have voted for Hohn Curtis #1 in 2012 or South Panola in 2010 or any other team that gets touted because of their recruits and not their play

BigDrop
USA Today has Highland Springs, VA and Southern Columbia, PA ranked ahead of DeMatha in their regional rankings. Of course DeMatha is not ranked in USA Today’s top 25. The only one of seven polls excluding DeMatha. Who is Southern Columbia? Who is Highland Springs? Never mind that DeMatha is about 150-6 in their last four games. USA Today believes Southern Columbia is better! Better! That’s credibility. Love to hear someone explain this. Thanks whoever USA Today hired to do this. I’ll drive by your building in Tyson’s tomorrow and laugh.

You'd have to ask Ken Massey. Looking at his site, the game against Clarkson isn't listed, so I'm guessing that's just a flaw with his algorithm - that it's constrained to only consider data points between two US teams. CalPreps seems to have a similar limitation. They at least have the game listed, but Iggy is still sitting at #32, so it appears that game had minimal impact, if any at all.
