Only five people have ever benched 700 raw or more. Scott Mendelson, Kirill Sarychev, James Henderson, Eric Spoto, and Julius Maddox. Keep in mind raw =/= equipped The equipped record is 1102, equipped meaning the use of a bench press suit. Raw means, as you probably expect, no bench suit. Besides being a 2 time Mr. Olympia he was also a great powerlifter who was freakishly strong. At 185lbs he also had competed in the 1977 World's Strongest Man competition taking 5th place.
