District was won in a landslide and District 9 by a clearly improved margin over 2018 (0.3% margin up to ~1.2%).

I hope these are the bell-weather results the Dems were hoping for.

.

Bishop held his own in suburban counties and flipped rural counties.  Any GOP candidate in NC close after early vote tabulated is nearly certain to win.  Election Day vote in NC is strongly GOP.  Hillary went from +2-3 early on to losing by about 4 I think.

The Republican won by just 0.3% in 2018.

They just called it and he'll be comfortably ahead of 2018 results.

Orange Man bad.

.

and Trump won the district by 12 points and hasn't been democratic since the 60's.....so a 2 point win a BIG deal huh??...LOL...Orange man dumb and bad...😉

Look at the timeline of the race

Republican wins original race.

Fraud is discovered.

Republican says he wont rerun

The whole time mcreedy the Democrat is campaigning and raising money. He ended up out raising bishop since bishop was a late candidate.

The lines are redrawn in the democrats favor

Bishop was not well liked due to the bathroom bill which if you have any brain in your head you absolutely support

Thay bill was repealed in 2017.

Bishop wins last night by 4000 votes and flips Cumberland county from blue to red
