BigDrop
I apologize because I am going to say the wrong thing. I am imagining DM playing Gonzaga or SJC and DM needing a td with time running. Malakai Anthony is behind center. I just wish I had a bit more trust in him.... This is not an inspiring performance tonight.
MA Fan
Friendship penalties helping DeMatha a lot.
BigDrop
Bill made a good decision to give The freshman a legitimate shot. Bravo, Mr. McGregor.
NicholasMalibu
17-0 DeMatha. Defense played well. Offense was a tire fire the entire game. Horrendous penalties. Better shape up for WCAC.
NicholasMalibu
WCAC rankings heading into league play next weekend... 1. Gonzaga - offensively a step ahead of everyone. 1. Tie - DeMatha/SJC - Both great DL’s and LB’s. SJC has more experienced skill players offensively. DeMatha has a better OL. 4. Good Counsel - barely beat Friendship and SMR on last minute plays. Not calling them out, but they haven’t looked good the last two weeks. Big game against Gonzaga next weekend.

I agree with all except I'd put Gonzaga at best in the tie with SJC and DeMatha...their non-league schedule is a joke...all four would easily be unbeaten playing that schedule ...American Heritage (#79) is the only half-decent team they have played. The others are #170 DBP (tied in the 4th), #396 Avalon, #1,027 Georgetown Prep ( trailed at half), #1,227 Plant and #6,908 Leesburg. I am not impressed.

Gonzaga has not played anyone this year. There defense of front is small. I think they will struggle to stop DM running the ball.. Anthony can win with his feet , but today Dm look like they were not even trying to show much offensively. But I think DM has the best lines offensively and defensively. With zaga oline being a close and I mean close second. SJC is beat up but they have great skills...
