The name is a simplification of “Mesquiters,” which was their previous mascot name." The Skeeter will be taking on the mighty Lobo of Longview tonight. RedZone Posted November 9, 2019 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2019 Yeah, this game was 14-7 turned my head and it was 28-7 just like that. Skeeter had no sting. Longview annihilated their schedule this year.....especially district. Lufkin and West Monroe put up good fights. Lufkin probably goes 4-5 rounds in 5A. Bass fishing reigns right up there with football and cowboying in Texas. That and belt buckles size of buffet dinner plates, starched jeans, boots and a good hat. BGW p.s.
