Theres a clear top 6 in 7A IMO, and one of those 6 will most definitely win the State Championship... Lowndes, McEachern, Colquitt, Marietta, Grayson, & North Gwinnett.... Its pretty clear the right side of the bracket is the toughest, as it contains 4 of those 6 teams, being Lowndes, McEachern, Grayson, & North Gwinnett... So itll be one of those 4 vs. Marietta or Colquitt in the Finals. Region 2 is by far the weakest Region, with Westlake as the #1 seed, East Coweta #2, Newnan #3 and Wheeler at #4. Pitiful. Its ashame they put Regions 1 & 3 against each other in the 1st Rd because those are the 2 best Regions by far. Regions 6 & 8 are solid too. Played'em in the rain and against their All-World QB1 who had committed to Auburn (Tyler Queen). Beat'em pretty bad up there. Different world these days...but at least we get to play in front of 7,500 screaming lunatics in Mack Tharpe. I expect a knock'em down - drag'em out type game. The Cray says we'll need 34 points to win....if we keep everybody healthy between now and next Friday night. You gotta LOVE this time of year. GO YOU HAIRY HAWGS !!!!! Marietta is prone to choke occasionally though. When them Bluecats roll up and start popping em in the mouth, they could curl up into a little ball in the middle of the field. Marietta should smoke Camden. Baileys healthy, they are senior laden, and battle tested. Dont think Camden nor Milton can score very much vs Marietta.
