according to the CIF SS website, MD had 63 (not 71) transfers in the 18-19 school year. The 63 numbers is for all sports, both Girls and Boys. there were 11 Football related transfers (only 9 played varsity ball). here is a link to the site with all the info:

https://cifss.org/approvals/transfers/

It is rather easy to look up the into.

PS: the 2019-2020 school year MD has had 56 transfers with 8 being for Football (6 on varsity).

9 is almost half the team.

xD

Add the 6 from this year and it's 15, which is basically 3/4 of the team transferred in over the past two seasons.

Of course we know, some transferred right back out and graduated with their original school. In for football out right after.

On an interesting breakdown of Folsom's transfers, the following numbers were to be found.

44 total REQUESTS transfers across all sports.

8 female transfers

13 of the 44 requests were denied.

31 total legit transfers.

11 for football.

11 for Folsom

71 for Mater Dei

In perspective, the SJS Champ this year, Oak Ridge has 17 transfers :)

Once Again you are a Complete Liar... Twisting the Numbers to Fit Your Narrative with no documentation....

Folsom has 44 Transfers, none were "Rejected" According to the CIF Website (Link Below) and Folsom has 15 Football Transfers (Listed Below) That is More Football Transfers the League Rival Del Oro Has in Total Transfers (14, 10 Girls).

Oak Ridge (Section Champ and New #1 in the SJS)- 17 Total Transfers (8 Girls), Folsom has 15 Football Transfers Alone...

Monterrey Trail (Beat Folsom By 12 In Playoffs)- 19 Total Transfers (10 are Girls), Folsom has 15 Football Transfers alone... No wonder these guys Run the Veer...

So OR, MT and Del Oro have a Total of 50 Transfers and Folsom has 44, that is only 6 less then The 3 Schools Combined... of the 50 Transfers for those 3 schools 28 of the 50 or 56% are Girls...

According to your Numbers 8 of Folsom's 44 or 18% Transfers are Girls... :)

That means those other 3 Schools only Have 22 Male Student Athlete Transfers Total and Folsom has almost as many Football Transfers (15) as those 3 Schools have total Male Student Athlete Transfers (22)!!!... :) :)

Here is the Link:

http://cifsjs.org/coaches_and_administrators/transfereligibility/TransferRulings

Here is the List of Folsom's Football Transfers (15):

Anderson, Broussard, Arnds, Burke, Eklund, Frey, Gage, Hendrick, Jeffs, Higgins, Lyons, Perkins, Turbin, Patu, Koi....

44 Total Transfers and 15 Football Transfers only 8 Girls... Folsom is The Transfer King of Nor Cal...

Also,  Since you like to Compare MD.... 55 Total Transfers (11 More The Folsom) 25 Girls (3 x As Many As Folsom) which means 45% of MD's Transfers were Girls!!!... :)

https://cifss.org/approvals/transfers/

Your School (Folsom) is just as Bad if not worse then those you Whine about from So Cal and once again you look like an Idiot when the Documented Facts are presented...

You should stop all the Transfer Nonsense, It's a Tired Conversation that no one but You and @Texasfrog (Who is Obsessed with Ca) want to constantly whine about...

Denied, Rejected or Not Approved, what is the Difference?... There are 0 Transfers of the 44 that were not ultimately Approved... Because that is what the website shows, the Approved Transfers...

The only one on the Website that shows "Denied" is Cameron Broussard, who played after the Sit out period.... His VCOR or "Valid Change Of Residence" was Denied, which means he doesn't live with Folsom School Boundaries...

Contrary to what you constantly spin on here, the kids Recruited to Folsom, Obviously do not move to the Folsom District and nor do they have to.... They can just wait for the Sit out Period or "SOP"....

No Matter what you say you cant change the Facts...

Fact... Folsom's 44 Transfers lost to a Team Ranked #600 by 12.... :) :) :)

In an even better breakdown- the transfers to Folsom have to go through actual rules and a SOP. The SoCal kids going to the school for a semester and leaving, do not. :) Winning!

Of course I read it, I quoted it....

You are the one Making up Numbers with no Documentation... I have posted all the links and Identified your 15 Football Transfers...

You say Folsom has 11 Football Transfers when they have 15 that I have Identified off the CIF Website... You Say that 13 Transfers were Denied, The CIF Website Shows that 44 Were Approved...

You are just a Liar and Try to stir up arguments, you have no interest in reporting the Accurate numbers and just like @Texasfrog you are jealous of So Cal because Folsom hasn't played or beat any real teams from The OC because they are scared, so you just make stuff up to make yourself feel better...

It's all Good though... #600 Monterrey Trail 35, Overrated Paper Tiger Folsom 23.... :) :) :)

Riiiight.

This coming from the guy peddling the "Folsom's mom's theory" to cover up the fact that the executive committee director and ALL SoCal section commissioners pushed and voted for a rule with a "desire to return to the old format."

How to compare apples and oranges, lesson 1:

Start by cherry-picking data (71 transfers) from a 2nd hand source (Eric Sondheimer at the LA Times) that fails to include context and has been previously debunked. Apparently, the original article is no longer available. Perhaps it was taken down for being intentionally misleading, LMAO. Here's a 3rd hand source (USAToday) that references the 2nd hand source.

  • Willfully ignore the original source data because it doesn't fit your narrative.
  • Ignore that the source data is for the 2017-2018 school year (which is completed).
  • Ignore that the source data is for total transfer requests and not completed transfers.
  • Ignore that the source data is for the entire school and not just football.
  • Continue to barf out "71 transfers"

Now, use the complete opposite criteria in fabricating a second number so that you can use it in comparison with first number (71).

  • Use a different school year. Instead of using the past school of 2017-2018 (which has already completed and would therefore result in a larger number), use the current school year of 2019-2020 which is only half-way complete and may not include any transfers that have yet to go through for the 2nd semester.
  • Instead of counting all requested transfers, make sure to only include completed transfers. Claim that any "in progress" transfers are "denied". Then after you get called out for not realizing they are actually "in progress", edit your post in an attempt to make yourself look less like an imbecile (which unfortunately won't work).
  • Instead of counting all transfers for the entire school, only include football. This can be tricky because the source data might say "Valid Change of Residence" and not specifically say anything about "football". This would require effort for someone to check against, so it's probably safe to ignore those. I'm sure no one will actually check and find guys like #34 Senior TE/DL. Count all the references to prior participation in football to come up with 12. Decide, 12 sounds a bit too high and then knock off 1, because why the hell not? We're just making stuff up at this point.

Et Voila, we're now comparing apples to oranges.

  • Thanks 1

it also reminds me, that the ending of open enrollment was a major factor for the downfall of Los Al, throughout the 90's and early 2000's, Los Al was regular D-1 title contenders, they would make deep playoff runs, but in 2005 in all fell apart for them, they would return to open enrollment some several years later but apparently the damage was too much.

Funny- You don't say a word or argue context when the same posters continue to "barf out" the same debunked numbers and theories for Folsom.

Are you willing to do that for Folsom and MD? Or just MD because you have skin in the game as an SJB guy?

Honest question.
