This was "the score was going to be 7-0, but an erroneous call took it away."

"the score was going to be 7-0, but the Folsom guy fumbled".  You assumed the score, it did not happen, Folsom did not lead.

Doesn't matter about the call;  dude holds onto football, its a mute point.  He didn't so they didn't.

Facts.

Also, your claim about changing the course of the whole game is also an assumption.  Folsom got their asses kicked in the second half.

His knee was down. He did not fumble. It was erroneously called a fumble. Big difference. :)

And scoring 14 points in a second half, against a public 1AA team is far from an "ass kicking." :)

Even if they had called him down, he still did not score. DLS had a first down inside Folsom’s 5 and did not score, so cannot assume that Folsom would have.

And it’s funny how you glorify Folsom in one breath and then marginalize them in the next.

The problem with your argument is that the DLS fumble WAS a fumble.

Folsom's was NOT!

:)

I love taking you to school.

The argument is that, fumble or not, Folsom did not score and you cannot assume that they would have even  if they had called his knee down.

The argument is that a team that hung 80 on Central (1AA rep for NorCal) this year, would have scored from the 1 foot line. And that trumps all your points. :)

The DLS fumble WAS a fumble.

Context.

This was "not about the be tackled."

This was "the score was going to be 7-0, but an erroneous call took it away."

See how this works? :)

Facts:

Folsom Lost 14-0 and "Their Greatest Offense Ever" with all That D1 Talent could not score 1 single point against DLS....

DLS's Sophomore QB Starting his 1st Varsity Game put up 14 points and outplayed Folsom's D1 "Mobile" QB who apparently wasn't very Mobile getting Sacked 7 times and committing 4 turnovers...

That is all the "Context" there is...

See how that works? :)

P.S.... According to the Max Preps Scorekeeper, DLS Out-gained Folsom in the Game... That Maxpreps Scorekeeper from Folsom just does a Great Job!!!... :) :)

I am just glad I got you to show up and spend so much time on this thread.

I think you proved my point for me.

Total yards DLS- 231

Total yards Folsom- 206

What an ass kicking :) Context :)

In fact, DLS probably would have lost that game if it wasn't for the infamous "fake fumble" call on the 1! ;)

Besides the fact that DLS had a better defense than Central, I can make the same assumption that DLS, being DLS, would also have scored from the 1 foot line. Regardless of the reason, DLS did not. Folsom did not either. Shit happens, it’s part of the game.

One was a fumble. One was not.

One changed the game completely.

DLS was extremely lucky to get out of that game the way they did. Anyone who attended in person agreed.

SoCal had never beaten DLS prior to the transfer train tracks being laid all over Orange County.

Mission Viejo is 2-2 against DLS Beating DLS 2 years in a row, winning both on the road and at home...

While the #1 Public in CA was beating DLS on the  Field, Irrelevant Folsom was getting their Butts Kicked, by the likes of Woodcreek, Florin, Laguna Creek, etc...

MV Has been playing with the Big Boys for years, not hiding out in the lower level division avoiding all top competition...

P.S... In 4 games MV was never Shut out by DLS... As a matter of fact MV put up 88 Points on DLS in 4 games.. In 4 games against DLS Folsom put up only 64 Points against DLS including a Shut out Folsom's best team ever... That one really has to hurt... :) :) :)

LMFAO!

Folsom was beating Serra of Gardena before you had your first beer. In fact, they are still undefeated against SoCal teams! :)

DLS only had 236 TOTAL yards against Folsom's public school 1AA defense :)

Folsom head coach has been seen around high schools in Reno. Word is, he wants to get rid of the big black eye and is recruiting even harder then previous years. He’s looking for a rematch with Something Something Trail. He’s predicting the rematch will be won by 17.

He needs to keep pace with this :)
