HooverOutlaw
I'm talking salary only not with booster club money or paying for his car or truck he drives, home he lives in, free vacations or the pass the plate around Christmas bonus. We all know $125,000 plus is common. But is Buford the highest period at 175,000 per many on here and the Ga. Board. You take your state title winning coach who makes say 120-130 a year I would think with the extras he could take home say150ish. Plus many of their wives will get some kind of made up position at the school.
ECHS05
Bufords HC at $174,000 was definitely the highest in GA. Not sure about anywhere else.
Nolebull813
In Florida all 568 head coaches make a combined $200,000 a year. Does that count?
AztecPadre
It's hard to say. Since most privates do not disclose salaries. The stache is rumored to be near 300k but again nothing can be confirmed since it's a private and they don't disclose.
zulu1128
Pretty sure the average GCL compensation is around 85-90K...including full-time teaching salary and HC stipend.

I'm not so sure his base salary is at that level. Mater Dei is a diocesan school and subject to the restraints of the Diocese of Orange. J Serra is not a diocesan school on the other hand. For this reason I heard that Hartigan had a higher base salary than any of the other Trinity league coaches.

Not to mention a nice pention.
