Colquit 2020 schedule,

That’s actually a tough ass schedule.

Is it tough for some 30 plus D1 traveling circus mini college all star team? No.

But for the rest of the 99.99 percent of teams out there, this is pretty stout. All that out of state crap is just for message board goobers. If you play a tough in state schedule, who cares if the 6th best team in your schedule is from 2,000 miles away?

Tough is tough as long as teams are good.

Who’s QB? That kid Rabs been raving about since he was in 7th grade

We have a kid that looked pretty good last year in JV and in a few spots when needed. Zane Touchton, who has been in the program all the way through since middle school.

Apparently a kid moved down here from North Gwinnett or some metro school that some folks think may challenge for the position.

Not sure at this point, but, I think I'd have my money on Zane being the guy. Hoping he can put on a little weight personally, and he may. Kids change a lot from 10th grade to 11th and 12th.

We clearly had some challenges last year with the coaching change and all. Someone likened it to being like the kids' parents getting a divorce and suddenly there is a stepdad in the house. Most everyone can understand the issues that can create. We were for sure like Jekyll and Hyde. One minute beating NG at the Benz, next minute giving up 51 to Valdosta, then destroying Grayson then bending over for Parkview and going home with timeouts in our pocket like fuck it, let's just quit and go home.

We should be a year removed from that, and, the kids have still been grinding as much as they can. Doing whatever "nonfootball" exercises and team building stuff they can.

Playing Marietta and Cedar Grove early are both pretty solid games. Breaking in a new qb, largely new o-line and several new defensive players. I have no idea what to expect. Expected more this year, so, having all those seniors gone, certainly nervous about what may happen.

My pesos are definitely on Z-Man.

We'll have skill players...but I'm not sure about the rest.
