RedZone
Since the offseason is officially here, every team will turn its attention over to the upcoming NFL Combine. On Friday afternoon, the full list of players invited to the biggest scouting event of the year was revealed. In total, there were 337 players invited to the NFL Combine. LSU will be represented better than any other program at the event, as the reigning national champions have 16 players that received an invitation. Out of the 10 schools with the most players invited to the NFL Combine, five of them are from the SEC. The Big Ten holds claim to two programs from that group. https://thespun.com/sec/lsu/nfl-combine-invitees-announced-top-schools-indianapolis LSU Joe Burrow K’Lavon Chaisson Saadhiq Charles Lloyd Cushenberry Grant Delpit Michael Divinity Clyde Edwards-Helaire Blake Ferguson Kristian Fulton Justin Jefferson Rashard Lawrence II Damien Lewis Thaddeus Moss Jacob Phillips Patrick Queen Stephen Sullivan
RedZone
For people who don't follow this sort of thing that doesn't necessarily mean LSU will have 16 drafted next month. It "could" be a banner year for LSU though and I'm pretty certain the Tigers will break their team record of 9 drafted. ......9 of the 16 LSU invites are from Louisiana......I'm feeling all 9 of those will be drafted. I've seen some NFL mocks that have 6 LSU players going in the first round. That's a bit of a stretch though......I'm thinking 4 possibly. This LSU team was talented across the board and there isn't much doubt about that.
