Georgia teams can’t play any team in the country who is not sanctioned by their state association. So if USA is not apart of the AHSAA then it will never happen with GA

You're are just gonna have to be disappointed unless you can make the schedules yourself because none of the coaches in Ga could care less. The only driving force that will get the games you want would be too much to explain. Ill try to make it short but the metro teams can't do that because they are year by year with recruiting kids. Expect Marietta to take big leaps back just as Milton did this past season. South Ga teams will have to have the games be home games just from a financial standpoint. It makes no sense for south ga teams to go anywhere and play at empty stadiums when they can sell out their own stadiums and rake in the money. Would you rather work at home for a 100k or take the same job 30mins away for a 30k ?

Gametyme
Trinity Christian is not even a Top 25 team in Texas. Not who I want representing Texas in OOS games.

Maybe I'm wrong but I just don't see it. Especially now that we have the state championship games played at a single location in front of 100,000 fans for the weekend. But if they play a national schedule why couldn’t we have a team like this USAA or SFA? A completely independent schedule she not under the control of the UIL or TAPPS

ATLien12x
19 minutes ago, Horsefly said: How does ELCA compare to GAC? ELCA is probably better most years. They’re a smaller school than GAC for sure, but ECLA has won the 1A State Championship five years in a row. GAC is 3A and plays better competition (aka Cedar Grove) so they haven’t won a title yet but have come close a good bit and definitely put out more D1 talent. ECLA was really down this year in my opinion and still went 14-1 with a title. If I had to pick head to head most years I’d probably lean ECLA but with the class difference and no common opponents it’s kind of hard to know for sure. ECLA looks more athletic to me when watching both teams. They’re definitely faster than GAC that I do know In 2017 ECLA defeated Tennessee’s 5A champion Knoxville Catholic 55-10 in Tennessee. Believe that’s the only time they’ve played out of state
