McEachern had three four stars transfer in the off season (QB, WR, and OLB) This game is in Florida on September 25th. Oh woe is the Indians

Carlos Del Rio Wilson (Florida commit) transferred to Grayson

Dacari Collins (Clemson commit) transferred to Westlake

Chief Borders (Florida commit) transferred to Carrollton

Yikes...

Left Mceachern for Westlake?

Westlake is stacking up. They’ve added several  transfers in the offseason. Folks think they’ll be better than McEachern this year

Funny i am not hearing the sowega recutting police bitching about all of the start players that conveniently “moved” during Christmas break?

I know they know, ya know?!

Carrollton took in some kids as well.

Fussing about it isn't getting anything done.

As far as the kid moving from McEachern to Westlake, I can't imagine that a football related move.

The one to Carollton either. That's pretty far so I'm guessing a move was likely necessary.

That one to Grayson though... I wonder if they went to the same apartment that the Taylors rented back when? xD

That latter probably bodes watching for a year.

Your response shows how little you know about metro football. Westlake has been hot and heavy in trying to get kids for three or four years and Carrollton has as well.

grayson does what they do. I ain’t mad at anybody, just wondered where the outrage was.

the first comment wasn’t knocking you Buddy, just saying that you are not in the loop of those particular schools.

Does Westlake have the type of facilities that McEachern has?

I know they keep some talent over there, but, they are no better than McEachern on how they finish. That's what I was messing.around about on that one. It was really intended to be funny, but, still a semi-serious thought process.

Carollton has Colquitt's old offensive coordinator for their hc, but, I don't consider them metro at all. Like I said, that one seems easy to call a legit move from my view down here in Moultrie.

I'm definitely not in the loop, but, have been watching for quite some time. Some teams like Westlake and McEachern get a lot of talent but flame out time after time. Just doesn't seem like a great football move to make to me. It's a lateral move at best. See where my thought process is? If I'm gonna be concerned about a move enough to piss and moan, it needs to seem like a football move on it's face.

Westlake doesn’t scare people. They were the #1 seed two years ago when Marietta was the at large and we crushed them.

that was when the Kareem dude was coaching there. That’s why I laughed when they said valdosta hires him. He ain’t shit.

You are correct that both them and mceachern have had tons of talent for years, but zip to show for it. I would tell people at mceachern it was coaching. Old man dorsey wasn’t a great coach. Hockman wasn’t a great coach. We will see how stephens does but he ran off their three top players so that doesn’t bode well for him.

odd that the three highest recruited rising seniors would all move over Christmas break, huh?!? 😂

I'm looking at it through the same lens as @BUFORDGAWOLVES is. Maybe addition by subtraction.

Sometimes having those uber-talented kids, that think they're God's gift to McEachern or where ever they land at when the going got tough at their last place, is not the best thing for the team. Having too many ME kids is like having cancer. It kills you from the inside.

I'll be interested in how McEachern is this year. Personally, I think far too much emphasis is put on "talent and stars" especially in the metro. Just my opinion. If McEachern falls on their face after having lost those three, then, I may have to do some rethinking about coaching vs. having talent in the metro.

It’s funny. Many of your fellow sowegans told us for two years Marietta had too many “ME” kids and could never beat a lowends or cc because of it. They weren’t team guys. They were wrong.

I understand your point, but there’s a means to an end.

Sometimes it works out so I'm not saying it doesn't, but, a lot of the time it doesn't work out.

It still takes a perfect storm to win a state championship. You need some teams to fall by the wayside that could be potential matchup problems and you need your key pieces to stay healthy.

We've seen many a uber talented team fail.

True!

ima let you in on a lil secret. One of Marietta’s star players was so sick he could barely stand. Still gutted it out for four quarters!

proud of that kid!

There is an entire thread that you made countless comments in when those kids first left but here you are again bitching.

Lowndes best player was out almost the entire playoffs with a torn acl. Look your team got caught cheating by recruiting players and your coach doubled down and recruited more for this past year.  Instead of ghsa doing their jobs they did what they love to do and let metro schools slide. Your team is back in the shitier for another 50 years unless your coach gets some more recruits in. You brought up mceachern and talk so much about not blaming the players. They had no problem suspending Dylan caldwell of mceachern for his entire senior seasons. That is disgusting. The easy fix to make it fair is what I proposed.  Allow transfers to play the regular season and suspend then for the playoffs so they have plenty of film for colleges and not switching just to win a championship for a community they aren't a part of. You're team cheated. Your coach recruited players that were already 4 n 5 stars who needed no help getting into college just to win a championship and he still almost screwed that up. If grayson does the same this year and win the championship you'll see me say the same as them. Only difference we've seen grayson on both sides.  D1 Starters and bench players lose to Lowndes.

96, you mad Bro? Here it is three months later and you’re still crying.

And for good measure, read the thread. I didn’t bring up mceachern. I don’t care. I asked hawg where the sowega bitch brigade was to make it all right?!

you’re a tad late, but glad you made it to spew your “community” horseshit. We have kids who transferred in whose parents started working for the district as teachers before they played one snap for Marietta. Those parents who are teaching their Third and fourth year of kids aren’t part of the community either, right?

Sad a grown ass “man” is so distraught over HS that he insists on coming in Every opportunity he gets to badmouth teams that smacked his up.

Funny your new coach is rumored to have recruited tons of kids at his last stop. I’m sure he would never “cheat” for y’all though.......besides that, he is t a part of your community. He’s a transfer. 😂
