I'd imagine that he hasn't.

Do you know if these either him or rod cases will be suing the schools or directly suing certain people.  Jw because if im in either situation and claim to care for the kids suing the school will do nothing but hurt the kids.

Idk.

I think Rodemaker doesn't have much of a case because his contract was up and they just didn't renew. They didn't drum up a bunch of bullshit on him in order to do it, they just voted and walked away.

In Rush's case, the BOE is insulated by the super who drummed up a bunch of bullshit to hand over to the BOE in order to cause Rush to not be renewed.

Not sure what angles Rush could or would take, but, I assume a defamation suit against the super personally could be an option. Idk. We'd have to ask some lawyers. Pretty sure the school board is insulated with the defense that all they had was the info that the super handed them. Which, apparently now, has been shown to be junk just like many of us said in the beginning.

Totally different circumstances between the two situations.

Hawg...Rush got what he wanted and desperately needed.  He got his certificate reinstated.  Basically, he accepted a "plea deal".  I don't blame him nary a bit.  He needed a paycheck and the deal was the first step in achieving that.  If he's smart (and there's no huge reasoning to think he is) he'll get a good paying HC job in Georgia (Roswell sounds good to me) and move forward with his life.

I did love the headline though..."vindicated".   If he's vindicated...I reckon the State of Georgia will award him back-pay with full interest.  Don't think so.  He got time served.  And just between me and you...I wouldn't bet the farm that he goes to Valdosta.  I sincerely hope he does cause he's wanted that job for a LONG time.  BUT....

Just sayin....

Well, there are/were certain findings released front the AG office that could be construed as vindication for several of the things levied against him.

Reading the consent that was signed, I think there could certainly be a case for defamation. Whether or not anyone would want to pursue that given all the circumstances is another thing entirely. So, I agree that it may not be the best course to plot.

I keep hearing people say that Dr. Cason is the hold up at Valdosta, but, I only ever heard good things about Rush from Dr. Cason, not second hand, but first hand. Right from the man's own mouth in a casual setting. Now, I do know that things change and people change their minds about other people all the time, so, not saying he's not 100 percent the hold up, but, I'd be putting my money on others being the hold up than Dr. Cason.

I've heard that they've moved their announcement date off to the 24th. Not sure where that's coming from but just what I heard.
