I'm finding out every day how many Americans are sheep!

Easily persuaded into socialism/communism.

Cannot think for themselves or use common sense

It's all what they heard from the fake news media and politicians who will flat out lie to us!

Have you followed Italy at all?

Depends on how well he explained I suppose. It sounds pretty silly on it's face, but, as Bormio pointed out, they already do that in some situations, as with some types of arthritis.

No explanation needed.

As that's the only chemical option 'modern' medicine has afforded some...

I was just questioning whether you feel that is the right approach...

Man I sure hope the public doesn't find out....

Anybody that dies from Corona now that got a flu shot will want to sue..

Can't say they didn't know right? 🙄

Interesting. I suppose only if you were forced to take a flu shot would you have a suit.

Like some corporations force their employees who work closely together to get the shot. Often on the companies' dime.

I only ever had the flu once in my life, and also only ever had a flu shot once in my life after that. The season that I took the shot I spent more time sickly with various colds and shit, so, then I linked it together and never got the shot again, so I understand why some people turn on vaccinations.

It's the only approach we have right now. I think in a controlled environment, like an ICU, where we hopefully aren't being subjected to other bacteria that we need immunal response for would be the rule.

I've been seeing these nightmare scifi looking photos of people in plastic bubble suits in Italy. If you are fully inside one of those and being given clean oxygen...

You wanna see what else helps drive people toward socialism?

Total Cost of Her COVID-19 Treatment: $34,927.43

Necessity drives people to socialism.

The lady in that above posted Time article has been forced to apply for medicaid now.

A few days in and out of the hospital which was needed for self preservation, costed her nearing 40k dollars. Many people don't make that per year.

Would that you were around to pay for a flight to Cuba or Venezuela. Her problems would have been solved.

Actually it's not the 'only approach' available...

a thinking something is your only option,

is never such a good 'approach'...

just sayin'

So, what other medical approaches are available today?

None. These approaches are only in trial stages at this minute. The other approch for those suffering from overactive immunal response to covid19 is make you comfortable until your body wims the battle or you die.

Mine was a more broad "best approach" based question...

I'm not certain the Flu shot is to prevent one from getting the Flu, but to lesson the effect of it should you contrct the Flu. Which is why I get one every other year. I know I have to get the Flu once in awhile to keep my antibodies up to date with the ability to better fight the Flu. My wife never gets the shot and gets a nasty case every other year or so.

Hell, no one has all the answers to certain diseases.

They are hitting on a reasonable strategy for testing.  If you are mildly ill, assume you have it and stay at home isolated (which means from your family members too).  Do not get tested.  It uses up PPE.  If you get sicker and are hospitalized, you will be tested.  The new rapid tests are being directed to the hospitals so they can make real time care decisions.  Medications are not for the mildly ill, but those who are significantly sicker.

The testing recommendation is for hard-hit areas, but is going to become generalized I believe.

Figure we have one more week of the media telling you you're all going to die. Then the media will tell you it was all bullshit brought on by Trump. Like the sheep you are you will follow suit.

Media three weeks ago... the mortality rate in America will be horrible.

Media a week ago... during the next two weeks the mortality rate in America will skyrocket.

Deaths due to the Chinese virus in America so far...less than 400.

400 deaths and you can't go outside. Can't go to a movie,  restaurant, gym, church. You're locked in your home.

Fucking idiots

The curves from the French study on Plaquenil plus Zithromax are amazing compared to no treatment.  The curves separate on Day 3, only about 20% of patients in the treatment arm are positive for the CV.  On day 6, over 80% of untreated patients are positive, versus virtually 0% of the treated.  Certainly would like to see the clinical results reported, but that is dramatic

I'm outside plenty. Going on walks, projects in the yard...feels good. I don't go to movies much, but have watched about the same number at home now as normal. Had take-out for dinner last night to support one of our local favorite restaurants. They appreciated it very much, and we enjoyed it as well. We've gotten creative with exercising, supplementing equipment we have at home with other workouts.

This is not what we wish for, but there are ways to make it better. Not ideal, but better.
