It might be from all over because down here light skin black women were either called red bone or yellow bone. or just light skinned. Lol. It was a case by case basis 😂

It’s used a lot in the south, I thought he was from back East.  maybe it’s used there too

all over this land.. plenty of friends from down deep in it...been to some of them juke joint down there as well.. love it.. love me some fried catfish and greens with hot sauce too.. old Cods been around.

been down South plenty but most places I lived were near or on military bases..Lot's of Southern culture in the military hence areas near the bases have that flavor as well..

Actually where I lived in Maryland technically was the South.... Just not Deep South
