George Floyd’s Death and Protests

If the cops were smart, they'd join in some of these protests. Protest the ignorant bastards that cause the badge to lose respect. Cops are citizens too. They need to accept they have a responsibility in all of this for their fellow citizens. Stop acting like a gang themselves.

I hear them fussing when they have trouble policing certain neighborhoods because people don't talk and act like good witnesses. Well, neither do they. Can't stand up there and be mad about how people react to you when you are doing the exact same stuff.

Cop standing there with his back turned while the other knelt on a man's neck until he died!

Then they'll load up in riot gear and shoot water cannons, flash bangs, pepper spray, tear gas and rubber bullets right after having done that like a fucking gang their own selves.

Individually many of them, probably most are good people. Put them together as the blue stripe gang though...

They better start working hard to get back the respect these bad apples have lost their badge for them instead of ganging up and ignoring the problem. Act like a part of the community and stop pretending you aren't part of it. Stop turning your back while one of your gang kills a man. Fucking hell.

You got those cops who think they're above the law and you got those who respect and serve like they're supposed to.

There's gonna be good and bad apples in every group...

And the cops in this country have a history of not exactly being friends with Black people... they have been used as an extension of racism and discrimination. Not saying they haven't or can't change but the stigma's still there...

Former U.S. Marine and Baltimore police officer Michael A. Wood, Jr. made headlines when he Tweeted about the abuses he witnessed fellow Baltimore police officers perpetrating. In this interview with The Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur Wood reveals the truth behind the “us vs. them” siege mentality pervading urban police forces that leads to a culture of corruption, racism and abuse, and what can be done to bring change for the better to policing in the United States. Can the two innocent federal agents who were shot last night in San Francisco join in on those protests? One was killed btw.

Or is a cop getting killed just the collateral damage of as you would say, “burning it all down?”

I’ll maintain, destroying the lives, property of and livelihoods of innocent people is the epitome of stupidity and never will be justified. So don’t try. Support it if you think It makes a point, but don’t justify it.

Nothing ever justifies innocent people suffering.

Agree 100%

but Not to that fucking schmuck @HawgGoneIt

he says burn all these cities down. Fuck businesses (many btw owned by black people), fuck pharmacies, fuck low income housing, fuck police stations, fuck groceries stores etc

Destroy your own communities and loot a Louis Vuitton for a new bag. That will show everyone how racist this country is!

I've literally asked your racist and disrespectful ass to never quote my or address me again. Clearly you have a need for my attention.

How about you try to educate yourself about shit before speaking out on it first.

A statement tweeted by the police department said, “it appears the shooting is unrelated to tonight’s demonstration.”

So now, enjoy your little moment of attention from me. It will be your fucking last. Fuck off.

This is a god damned shame.

He didn't hear them did he?

He's hearing them now I reckon.

If you kneel you must hate America...

Shit I love my country but I know when and what's wrong with my country. It's because I love my country that this stuff pisses me off. We're better than this...

People have allowed ignorance to flourish and take a stranglehold on us.
