Nice pic, threw me off guard, I thought all Georgians are Atheists like @BUFORDGAWOLVES

Just because he got a pic in front of a landmark doesn't mean he isn't.

plus, it being "touchdown Jesus" in the title, it could have stayed on this side but, we seem to feel like inserting religion and politics so now it's gotta move.

I got one better. McEachern has a Touchdown...Indian? When I went to Powder Springs for the NG-McEachern game, I really wondered whether this a statue waving or Desean Jackson's comments in reality.

Tear it down...burn in...spray paint it..its offensive!

I wouldn't say it's offensive because of the Indian aspect. I'd say it could be consider offensive because it too closely resembles a Hitler salute. I have to say, I was a little shocked to see it when I arrived there for the first time.

Don't know if you are an athiest or not,

but it is always interesting to ask an athiest,  if they know the difference between God and Faith...

People seem to be able to get by without the first...

but the second provides them problems...

So what becomes the idols to put their faith in  🤔

and which would provide you a better life ?

Most can't live without faith in 'something'....

So where should one invest his ?

Don't give those fascist nerds any ideas.

Don't worry, as long as Christianity is the dominant religion in America (and at a Catholic Notre Dame), that iconic statue isn't going anywhere. I'm not even Christian and I'd hate to see it come down. It's just iconic.

People said the same thing  about the 249 yr old church in Ca. days before it's 250 yr birthday.

My uncle Chuck was a teacher at ND from 1936 to 1973.Great person, always found rare pennies to send me for my collection.Birthday,xmas,1st holy communion & conformation. One of my prized possessions is a photo of he & knute Rockne.

I don't know history about the church, so that may be something I need to research.

Knute Rockne? Wow. How lucky he must be. 16 years into my life and the only famous people I've met are Keanu Reeves and Doug Baldwin. If it counts, then I've high-fived the entire 2019 Ohio State football roster. And I've seen Cam Newton at one of our high school football games this past year.
