Surprised this hasn't been brought up on all the sports talk programs and radio shows. So when you go into Extra Innings you start off with a runner on second base. If that Runner scores what happens to the pitcher's ERA? It's not his fault that the person was put on second base so does he get charged a run for that? Also does the hitter get credited with an RBI if he hits a single while someone was placed on second base and does the runner get credited with a run scored?

Pitchers ERA wouldn’t typically go up if come in with RISP, it would be charged to whomever let him get on base. Runner should get credit for a run and hitter should get credit for RBI though.
