Hey look, I made a better map than MaxPreps and did it for free in like 5 minutes.

Appreciate it. Honestly only takes me 5-10 mins in the evening to compile everything. Map is another 5 mins every Friday. I feel like it's important to keep up with all the states because you can see

Been doing this for a few days on the MD board but figure it's relevant here as well. I try to update nightly. National Fall 2020 HS Football Outlook- 7/22/20 State Associations: Full go

Still has to pass the DOE vote and there are issues with busing and whether school districts will allow kids to come to after school activities (sports) if the school isn't open for in class instruction.. Basically not every school will be able to participate so there may be some migration issues as well. The DOE may vote the students have to be back in the school building before after school activities and busing can happen. This is not a issue for the privates though . a ways from a done deal but it is a start

After 3 hours of debate Delaware State Board of Education has just voted 4-3 to APPROVE fall sports. Practices will begin Sept. 28.

Football- 7 game season and only two rounds of play-offs.. 4 Div 1 and 4 Div 2 get in..* some schools and/or school districts will opt out of football due to issues I posed above..

CT finally threw in the towel on fall football after last week's meeting between the CIAC and DPH failed to produce any change in positions. Lots of talk about potential club leagues but that is easier said than done.

Not surprised at all.

I feel like it's important to keep up with all the states because you can see patterns and also because so many of the states playing football as normal this year are non-power states.

I'm fortunate to have a pretty low-key job and a fair amount of free time so I really don't mind a side project or two. It helps keep me sane in this new world we find ourselves in. I've compiled the HSFB schedules for every team in MD for years now because no one else will do it. Every year since 2013 or so I've had the only comprehensive list of games in MD. It's gotten to the point where I've fallen into helping teams fill schedules and providing my master schedule to official organizations. It feels weird to not be chasing down schedules for fly-by-night home school programs, prison schools and shady start-ups this time of year so I guess this COVID Roundup is an ok replacement.

Do you know Ted Silary from up in the Philly area? He has a very comprehensive website http://tedsilary.com that’s all about Philly prep sports.

Ted's done great work for years and years. I've been aware of his site since I was in high school since we were playing up there at least once a season. The Philly Inter-AC schools made up a good part of McDonogh's non-conference schedule for about 15 years or so.

Philly Catholic schools are back, not clear how many games or what the schedule will be like:

That's real good news for Salesianum... They were getting snubbed out in DE and not getting games now between the MIAA and PCL they should easily be able to fill schedule..🙏
